Hotel receptionist was pretty much useless had to extend my stay and it was a 30 minute process decent room other than that not worth the $100 though

I booked the room on Hotels.com. The staff at the hotel was fine and I arrived later than expected but I booked what I though was a room with two separate bedroom areas for 5 adults, when we arrived, I was given a one room suite. We were able to make it work but it was cramped. Breakfast was lacking but the hotel was mostly clean.

The property is rather run down. Some of the furniture was not clean, although the bedding was. Hot breakfast was not available at all - breakfast options were very limited. Most of all, there was a problem with the hot water, in the shower the water temperature alternated between periods of hot and lukewarm. The bathtub also didn't drain properly and water pooled in the tub during the shower. Conditioner from the dispenser in the shower did not work.

I found pubic hairs in the sofa bed. Fake eyelashes all over the floor. Hallways reeked of Marijuana. Sofa bedding was not in a sealed bag. No protein offered for breakfast. Only pancakes, cereal, granola bars, and sausage egg cheese croissants for both days I was there. The egg in the sandwich was the only available protein.

Rooms were extremely worn and the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes smoke. I told the front desk agent that we were leaving due to the smell and would not be staying. She said that she would refund the stay and said sorry, but she did not issue any refunds

This hotel is a bit shabby but clean, safe, and overall quiet. What really killed the 5-star rating was the Internet speed: "up to" 10mbps, shared between all stations on the network means that the hotel wi-fi was effectively useless. The gym was adequate but the equipment old and deteriorated: the one (of two) treadmills that worked had a missing "increase speed button" and was difficult to operate, and the battery reserve on the elliptical was dead, so the machine reset if you stopped moving for an instant or reversed stride direction. The rooms were clean, and amenities were as advertised. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was barely adequate, with one super old, crusty bottle of CoffeeMate serving as the sole source of creamer for the tepid coffee. Tea offerings were black Lipton only, and the choices were limited to one type of bagel (everything), one type of muffin (prepackaged vending-machine style blueberry muffins), Yoplait yogurts, cheap granola bars, and apples wrapped (weirdly) in plastic. There was also cereal, but the one source of milk was a small glass cooler that was left unrefrigerated on the counter for multiple days before being switched out, so we passed on that option. This looked like an old, out-of-repair hotel that was being slowly revived, but it could also have been corporate cost-cutting. This hotel is on its way to either a 2-star or a 5-star rating, depending on whether the owners are trying to revive it, or bleed it dry.

We were not impressed with this place. Staff was not helpful. They were actually quite clueless behind the front desk with no professionalism. Hallways reaked of pot. Always had to ask for coffee for the room. They never fixed the conditioner dispenser. The fireplace was a disappointment to say the least. NOT worth the upgrade. I never stayed at a Sonesta however now I know what I need to know. It's a clean 2 star hotel. That's it!

Staff was unreachable when needed for thinga auch as additional towels etc due to no maid service on weekends,breakfast bar consisted of apples and cereal as they would only put out a few of the other items such as bagels and muffins. The breakfast options were: breakfast sandwiches for the microwave, yogurt, pancake machine maker, with strawberry or blueberry syrup, white bread, everything bagel, apple and orange juice, granola bars, Oatmeal, coffee and tea. The cost was good and Whitney was pleasant and on top of her job. The tub and sink were backed up but their maintenance staff were quick to resolve the issue. Their kitchenette was clean and dishes were clean. Beds were comfortable and they refreshed the rooms when we wash gone. The halls smelled from time to time, they allow dogs to stay and the 1st floor near the exit smelled real bad of dog and waste. Parking was great. Lobby and dining area were great and clean. Would I stay again. I would just would bring a couple of my cleaning items and room sprays for the hall.

Had to switch rooms 2 times. 1st room bathroom sink clogged water never drained out,2nd room smelled stale like smoke and found roaches in bathroom,3rd room found hair in refrigerator. Was too late to find another hotel.kids running up and down the halls thoughout the night,very loud.people just lingering outside,seemed like they were high.someone mentioned that its a place for battered women and homelss folks.i am.not judging ...just should be respectful for folks that has driven and traveled to stay.was so tired but it was so loud.Didnt like the carpet. Inside room very clean and nice except the one with the roaches in it.i did wipe everything down .asked for another towel and wash cloth because it was 3 of us....never got it until the morning because they said i had to turn old ones in....i wasnt satisfied. Property manager said she'll give me a partial refund. I did not like this stay,will not stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times but have not been there for about a year and it has went downhill since we last visited. The staff was super nice but the whole place smells like someone is burning food. It’s filthy outside and inside. We were woke up at 3:30 am by a group running through the halls and banging on doors. The police were called and they were thrown out but we did not go back to sleep and left at about 7 am. We will not be going back! Sad because we love Sonesta suites, hopefully this is not how the chain is going!
