Florence is a beautiful city. A visit is a must!

The room was spacious with balcony. Breakfast was superb with many choices of food. The location is 5 minutes walk from the train station and walking distance from most of the attractions in Florence. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Really pleasant stay at the heart of Florence.

The location,was super handy to arrive and go to the airport by tram and then being able to walk everywhere in the city centre without being really far from things. Also the staff were super friendly made us feel very welcome.

Is not a dislike, it’s a concern, the property is full of tiny ocasional steps (ex.from the corridor to the room, or from the room to the bathroom). That can be difficult for some people with mobility issues

The hotel rooms and the hotel in general is very very old and unmaintained. The pictures on booking are edited all of them we were disappointed as we were there for our honeymoon and we had to check out 2 days in advance because of the hotel situation. The staff didn’t even bother to ask about the reason

Perfect place gor a one night stay in Florence too bad we could not stay another day or two.

Rooms were large and comfy, beautiful roof top terrace and down stairs garden, staff very accommodating, great location 15 min walk to il Academia. Close to tram which goes to and from airport.

Great hotel in very handy location

The location was perfect for exploring the city. Being close to the station was a bonus as well. It was quite in the rooms, the rooms were a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and there was something for everyone. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

There was a strange smell in the bathroom. I got use to it after a while. The room was also really hot. The staff assured me the heating wasn't on in our room but I had to sleep with the door to the veranda open to cool down the room. This would have been fine but the mosquito situation was intense and we had so many mosquitoes in our room. If there had been a fly screen it would have been perfect. I was not expecting our room to be too hot in mid November:) or for there to be mosquitos at that time of year.

Absolutely awful!

The only good thing is the location

What a Scam it is to tell people this is 4 stars hotel and even hostels and 3 stars have better amenities and are better trained. Rooms looked so old and dark, everything was creaking, there wasn’t even proper cups for coffee just plastic ones, minibar fridge was empty, shower and sink don’t drain water fast enough, we had to call and go to concierge 5 times to keep requesting to not turn of our aircon because yes they do that is not independent in the rooms. It just felt they were trying to save money everywhere possible, even with staff who half are trying to be nice and the other half look upset, like they don’t know what they’re doing and like they have no idea about proper customer service! I will write an official complain and demand refund because the price we paid for a hole it’s just ridiculous.

Nice escape from the Florence heat

The ac was cold enough and the pool was perfect. Breakfast was nice as well. It’s not the 4 seasons but the price is much better :) The rooftop bar has a great view as well. The hotel is not new, but we had a great time escaping from the August heat (40) in the room and pool during siesta.

We had to buy our own shampoo and conditioner which is a bit strange as the rest of the hotel is very well organized.

Nice escape from the Florence August heat

The room was simple but clean and the air conditioning was cold enough to fight off the afternoon August heat. Our balcony had a nice view of the city. Breakfast was great as well. The rooftop bar was beautiful at sunset. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoon while 40 outside. It’s not the 4 seasons but a lot less money! All in all we loved the place.

Ideal getaway in the heart of Florence

The location was fantastic, right next to the historic centre, as well as the architecture and interior design of the building. Our room looked renovated, clean and absolutely pleasant, with all the essentials for our stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful since the very first moment we walked in. Very high quality breakfast, with plenty of choice. Lovely pool area fully equipped with sun beds and tables around for enjoying breakfast outside.

Great location a few minutes from Ponte Vecchio

The staff were helpful and warm, in contrast with another hotel were stayed at in Milan. Especially a lady at the reception called Tilly, she was wonderful. We were upgraded to a huge room with two floors, two bedrooms and separate dressing area. It was essentially a 2 bedroom apartment, just without a kitchen. And the pool was great and had a lovely atmosphere. We not only cooled down but meet some lovely people as well.

Practically nothing to complain about. There were some old parts of the carpet that were created and has peeled off the stairs in our room.

The staff, location and room itself were all wonderful. The amenities (pool & roof bar) amazing. The view from the roof was such a bonus and the pool on hot summer days was key. The location was very central.

No issues, naturally a lessor price would be nice but It’s worth it as long as you get the outdoor space.

The hotel is old and outdated. I really does need a good renovation. Paint is needed. The stairs are metal with thin layer of carpet. Lifts are tiny.

Overall it provided us with the beds we needed for our family but there was hardly anywhere to sit in the room and the rooms and hotel Require a renovation

Very rare to find wonderful pool and rooftop in the center in Florence! The service is very welcoming. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating at all times, really felt like a valued guest.

Good clean room - nothing special, but absolutely fine when you don't spend that long there. Great location - about 5 minutes walk to the centre. The roof top bar is worth a visit - spectacular views and nice sunset.

We discovered an issue that is apparent in Florence, there are many mosquitoes! Especially at night. The room had a plug in beside the bed but we didn’t know what it was or what it was for. At 5am we woke with more than 100 mosquitoes in the room, as we had the windows open for the fresh air and lovely view offered. We called the front desk and they arrived with insect spray and more plugs in and so it was then we discovered what we probably should have been told as travelers to the area and the hotel. The staff were really great, so this is not a negative to them but a word of understanding to travelers to Florence. We would definitely stay here again!!

Rip-off: £400 per night to stay somewhere worth maybe 25% of that.

Great location.

We paid extra for a garden view room (to avoid noise); they didn’t provide this, and when we questioned it they tried to convince us our room was better (it wasn’t). Threadbare corridors, tiny bathroom, mosquitos everywhere, and noisy.
