I loved the location, the view on the square of Santa Maria Novella. The room was spacious, clean with comfy bed. The breakfast was rich. This hotel is a very good option for your stay in Florence. Being very close to the bus and the train station was very practical also.

Proximity to the station was great. Lovely old building and nice breakfast.
My room was small but adequate. I was hardly in it.

Location is great but that’s all that’s good.
Staff were “grumpy” to say the least. The size of the shower was ridiculously small. My 6’2” partner could not move to wash himself. We had to request the air conditioner to be turned on. The hairdryer didn’t work. The paint was peeling off the bed head. I have stayed here previously and it has not aged well at all.
