Casa Howard Firenze - Residenza d'Epoca

Too many things to mention! The welcome, the room, the stay, the hospitality of the staff, so many lovely small touches! The breakfast was also lovely.

Nothing!

Its eclectic style! I love it! We had a delightful little terrace to have breakfast( love that touch of breakfast in our room!) Fresh towels every day. Fresh flowers everywhere. Its gorgeous! Location superb!

Dead tree in terrace!! Other plants looked lovely!

We had breakfast in the room every morning. It was perfect every time!

The shower could have been better. It was very dark in there!

The breakfast in bed was a nice touch. Edgar the main concierge is very helpful and kind. Some of the rooms were lovely.

I booked a room hoping to have a bathtub, I unfortunately did not get the Black and White room and was allocated the Oriental room. The furniture in the Oriental room was lovely. However the fake floating floor in the room did not match the aesthetic of the room and in my opinion was quite ugly. The pillows in the room were terribly flat. When I asked for a pillow with some more substance I was told that they didn’t have any alternatives. The area of the accomodation is not in a “good” area and very close to the train station. My taxi driver warned me not to turn right on the street as it’s not safe. I found the key system quite clunky and irritating. 3 different keys to get into the room. Now knowing that the area is not safe I understand the security measures. For 4 star and the price you pay it’s not value for money. I have stayed in a lot of European 4 star boutique hotels and this ain’t it.
