I recently had the pleasure of staying for just one night at Hotel Place Firenze, and even in such a short visit, the experience left a lasting impression. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, combining modern elegance with the timeless charm of Florence. Its location makes it ideal for exploring the city, yet it also feels like a serene retreat once you step inside. What truly set my stay apart, however, was the warm and genuine hospitality. I would like to especially recognize Michel Cannarozzo, the Front Office Manager, whose professionalism and kindness elevated the entire experience. From the moment of arrival, Michel made me feel not only welcomed but truly cared for. His attentiveness, thoughtful recommendations, and effortless ability to anticipate a guest’s needs reflect the very best of Italian hospitality. Though my stay was brief, it was memorable in every way. I would gladly return to Hotel Place Firenze, both for its beauty and comfort, and above all for the exceptional team led by Michel, who makes guests feel like family.

The Place is now my favorite hotel in Europe! The staff could not have been more kind, attentive and helpful. When our flight was cancelled, they arranged for a hotel in another city, train tickets and transportation. The dining room is exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the rooms charming. But it is the outstanding staff that makes this hotel so exceptional!

Paid nearly $2000 for a one night stay and the property did not reflect the price tag. On the morning of our departure, while breakfast started at 7:30am and we came down after 8am, it appeared that no one was even ready to start their work day until well after. After being seated, waited at least 10-15mins before anyone came to offer a menu. Coffee was terrible, breakfast marginal at best. Not a 5 star level experience by any means.

We travel often and typically stay in the Bonvoy group as I’m an elite Ambassador level and we stay in luxury collection, Ritz Carlton or St Regis. We appreciate outstanding service, unique and quality design, and comfortable beds with crisp linens. We were on a cruise in Italy and booked this last minute stay in Florence becase the St Regis and W were booked, and wow we were lucky to find this amazing boutique hotel, in an outstanding location, that exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Giarda who arranged for our car to be taken to the garage and escorted us to the beautiful sitting room to settle in with complimentary Prosecco as our bags were delivered to our room. I happened to mention it was my birthday in passing and shortly after a berry tart with a simple candle was delivered. Our room, which was the last available and smallest in the hotel, was beautiful, clean and the bed was super comfortable (think Simmons beds at four seasons and a few steps up from the heavenly bed). It was the first time we had slept on linen sheets and they were wonderful. Giarda offered to have them changed with percale but we chose to try them andcwere galas we did. The bathroom was upstairs with no tub, but had a bidet and was well designed. Breakfast included was fantastic. A wonderful buffet and they offered freshly cooked omelette s or eggs as well. The restaurant recommendation 13 Gobbi was excellent and the checkout was a breeze. We will definitely stay at JK place again.

My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful small hotel. We were warmly welcomed personally by Lucca immediately upon our arrival a most delightful gentleman who showed us around the hotel, helped with restaurant reservations and planned our day for us in Florence. The hotel is simply beautiful, extremely classy with a delightful eating/drinking area outside and amazing staff. We hope to return.
