A beautiful house with everything you need and a view

Beautiful and clean house that has a wonderful view! The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is so well equipped with everything. Utensils and appliances were so clean and new. Host also provided us with milk, butter and snacks . The location is convenient to go to the various touristy spots. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to visit isle of Skye .

The cottage had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is well equipped, best we have ever seen. It was very clean, brand new feeling.

Delightful quiet country cottage - a pleasure to stay in!

We love the layout of the rooms, we thought the apartment was spacious. We love the decorating choices. The kitchen very functional and well stocked. Parking was great right outside the cottage. The host and family were very helpful and responsive.

One of our group found the bed a little firm. Delightful.

Outstanding property and excellent value!

The property was ideally centrally located, close enough to Portree to be convenient, but out of the city. Central to most locations amd attractions. It had a very nicely supplied kitchen, very functional for a self catering cottage. Excellent coffee options! Beautiful view of the river.

Everything! The location, the cleanliness and Seonaid’s hospitality. It really was a home away from home where we could relax. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Wonderful stay at the Almondbank Cottage!

We have so enjoyed our stay at the lovely Almondbank Cottage!! The host (Seonaid) was so helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure we didn't lack for anything during our stay, even offering to lend me her walking shoes when I mentioned I'd forgotten mine at home. The cottage itself is wonderful, with an incredible view (we have taken many stunning "sunrise photographs" from the kitchen window). Shower and beds were very comfortable! The cottage is well located and happily situated, with Portree a short drive away. Would definitely recommend!

Heating was limited to fixed times. The override function worked once on one heater and didn't work at other times. Surprised that some extras like tea, coffee and paper towel were not provided. We had them at other similar places.

Picturesque location and central enough to travel either north or south on Skye. Good facilities inside.

Water heater timing was somewhat confusing, but the 30 minute booster seemed to work ok. This is probably just a worry to Australians, where water heaters run all the time!

Great location and awesome views. Everything was clean and it has plenty of room. Although it is not in Portree it is very near and you will get there fast by car.

A comfortable cottage in a beautiful location

The view from the property was amazing and kept changing all the time. The hosts communicated well and made every effort to ensure we had a great stay. We did not want to leave. The cottage was warm, the bed comfortable and we had plenty of room for two.
