Property is big, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Location is peaceful and quiet.
There is nothing we didn’t like. The location isn’t close to any pubs, cafès or restaurants so the car for us was a must. If you plan on relying on public transport it could probably become a bit tricky to move around the island or go and grab a bite of food.

The Sea Shimmer is a lovely little upstairs apartment and in an ideal location, just 15 minutes drive from Portree but secluded enough to be out in the beautiful Skye scenery. It is well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable visit. The owners are the sweetest couple and they are incredibly helpful and accommodating. I would stay here over and over again whenever I visit Skye.
