Very well equipped. Very clean and comfortable. Location was also great and made it easy to get to all our activities. The host, Helen, made sure that we had settled in and checked up on us to make sure all was good. The washing and drying facilities also made everything so much easier.

Loved the little chat with Helen our hostess. She was so kind and gave us a few recommodations. The washing maschine and the full Kitchen were another big plus. We would have liked to stay a bit longer.
I struggled with the heaters. Somehow I couldn't figure out how to get them to work properly. But the temperatur in the room was ok, so I didn't ask for help with them. I am sure, I would have received a helping hand.

The cottage was perfect for our needs. Roomy, comfortable, with everything we needed, in a good location to explore the area, on a farm, away from noise and roads--just perfect. I could do laundry in a separate laundry room a few steps away from our cottage, which was nice. When we arrived, it was unusually cold and rainy that day (July), and the heat was on so that we'd feel cozy. It was so nice and we appreciated it a lot that day.
I would pick this accommodation again.
Nothing.

Lovely cottage and spotlessly clean. In a lovely location and very easy to tour the island from there.

We loved everything about our stay! We were in The Pantry, which is a one BR unit that has a separate living space and separate kitchen/breakfast area. After traveling for a bit, having three whole rooms plus a bathroom was amazing! There was also a patio with outdoor seating. Everything felt very fresh. Very comfortable large bed. Updated and lovely bathroom. I used the available washer and dryer, both of which worked very well - didn't have to hang any clothes to get them to dry all the way. The property was so beautiful to explore, all the way down to the rocky beach. We saw one of the most stunning sunsets over the water - complete with sheep silhouetted on the ridge! Helen was very kind and welcoming, plus easy to reach for any needs. Portree was not far, 15-20 minutes at the speed we were comfortable driving. Do watch for potholes on Skye generally.
Nothing.

Location was fairly remote but accessible to most places with a car.
Absolutely nothing. Highly recommended for those wishing to enjoy a quiet holiday.

The property was exceptionally clean and everything was top quality. There was nothing we could have wanted in addition to what we received. I liked its proximity to Dun Suladale which is a fantastic as well as its proximity to a beautiful loch. The views of the mountains and Outer Hebrides were fantastic.

The cottage kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. They left us a pint of milk in the fridge which was a very thoughtful touch

This cottage is definitely not 3star quality, more 4 or 5!! Wow!! The farm house at Lyndale Cottages is truly INCREDIBLE. As a small family who loves to travel, we have stayed in hundreds of places, of varying types, hotels-airbnbs- luxury lodges - bnbs etc and truly, Lyndale is the best accomodation we have EVER stayed. It’s luxurious, stunning and homey.
What sets it apart is the attention to detail the owner Helen shows. We arrived to find a highchair, plastic tableware and a proper cot set up for our baby. We were relieved we didn’t have to wrestle another portacot and could immediately pop our Bub down to sleep after what had been a long drive for us. Having a proper crib made it feel like she wasn’t an afterthought and was a welcome guest too. We appreciated it immensely. It was lovingly made up with quality bedding and placed in the perfect location within the master room. Little touches were placed out like baby books on the windowsill.
Bedrooms - The bedding in the bedrooms are divine. The bedrooms are huge with plenty of closet space, and warm and cosy with quiet radiators. Everything is spotlessly clean.
Bathroom- The towels were fluffy, shower pressure amazing (and you could choose between a standard shower or waterfall shower), the bathroom mirror had a light. Every space was well thought out. The bathroom even had special facewashers if you wore makeup so you wouldn’t stain their white washers. (Also! The fact they offered facewashers was a BLESSING!). There was plenty of space to put toiletries and nice soft multiple ply toilet paper.
Facilities - The home has a kitchen with everything you need, 4 seat dining table and the comfiest couch of all time. There is a washer and a dryer in the small clean room next to the house. The setting was peaceful and idyllic. Quiet and safe feeling with stunning scenery.
Communication was perfect and Helen came by to check on us. She also gave us restaurant recommendations and easy instructions.

Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm. The cottage had sufficient heating as well.
wifi connection was weak but the host was quick to help check if there was any way to rectify it.

A beautiful cottage. It was really clean and well presented. We had everything we needed for our stay. There were kids toys we could use which was a real bonus. We felt very welcome on the farm and loved that the welcome pack encouraged us to walk around the farm - the kids loved seeing the cows!
Nothing negative at all.

As a couple we stayed in 'The Pantry', a one bedroom cottage which was very clean, well appointed and above all comfortable. Our host Helen provides information, maps, books just everything you need to investigate Skye. She also gave great advice and was so friendly. We slept like logs in the comfortable bed with crisp clean beding. Super shower, excellent kitchen just an utterly restful, quiet and beautuful place. Sunsets to die for. Nice walks nearby. We sat outside for some meals and because we were so far from the main roads could hear nothing but the wildlife. We also had some of the most beautiful weather for the week. Book it, you will not be dissapointed.
Nothing, it was perfect.

location. views. quality of fixtures and furnishings. comfort. Lovely family who owned it.
a few items were needed in the kitchen. Pyrex bowl, cooking tongs and perhaps a chair in the bedroom.

The very rural location and the animals roaming around. Because of the glass doors and open vistas it never felt claustrophobic, even when weather was foul. Helen (owner) came to see us after arrival and as we left. The cottage is very comfortable and was so fresh I thought it was a new business but they redecorate each year. We had booked the Edinbane Lodge Restaurant for one night and it was only a couple of miles down the road (highly recommend!). Good location for North/Central Skye and interesting walks from door.
There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like as such but sharper knives and a garlic press would have been welcome…and we already passed that on to Helen.

The cottages are located in a beautiful part on the Isle of Skye surrounded by cows and sheep. The road that leads up to the accommodation provides a nice view on the sea. The cows and sheep can get very close to the cottage which is most pleasant. Especially the cows are very curious and approach the garden without any hesitance. The cottages have everything you would need. Overall, a perfect stay when you visit Skye in general but especially if you want to cook yourself instead of having breakfast and dinner served.
