Wonderful cottage & great location for exploring Skye

Superb

The cottage was our little home for a week. It was well equipped with plenty of cuttlery, plates, pots & pans, so that it was easy to get through the day with several meals. The furniture was in a very good shape and in general well appointed / equipped. It is located abt 15 mins away from Portree by car, but was a good starting point for us for several trips in the area.

When travelling in Aug 2023, the humidity was reasonably high, so that the clothes and beds always felt a bit damp, which probably comes with the proximity to the sea and repeated scotish rain.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. Great for a family or friends.

Lovely peaceful cottage. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was nice to be able to walk to the Edinbane Inn.

The floor in the dining room wasn’t clean and a lot of the crockery and cutlery weren’t clean. The dishwasher filter was blocked and had to be cleaned out. Also could have done with more clothes storage in the main bedroom - a chest of drawers would be useful.

Weather was exceptional. Ploughman's cottage located in picturesque Edinbane & very close to the Inn. The cottage was well equipped.

Nothing much to dislike, we would however have liked a couple of deck chairs to laze in the sunny surroundings.

Un très beau cottage sur l’île de Skye

Le cottage est très bien situé pour découvrir la magie de l’île de Skye. Nous y avons passé un beau séjour en famille, la maison est tellement agréable que nous avions du mal à en sortir pendant les matinées pluvieuses. La cuisine est bien équipée et les chambres sont très confortables.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage - größer als erwartet

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Ploughman‘s Cottage. Zuerst hatten wir bedenken, da die Unterkunft nicht ohne kurzfristige Stornierung buchbar ist. Aber es hat sich gelohnt, das Cottage ist wunderbar und wirkt nochmal größer als auf den Fotos. Besonderes die große Küche ist ein Traum! Die wichtigsten Utensilien sind vorhanden und die komplette Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Alles war perfekt!
