Fladda Chuain Holiday Home

Our host was really helpful,specially on the first day when we arrived in the late evening. Marie and John messaged us with helpful guides getting into the property. We also had a box of eggs left by the front door for breakfast next day.

We like the kitchen and the cooking arrangements. We also like the dishwasher and the washing machine, which help us keeping the property tidy.

The house was spotless, which is hard to find for a rental home. The view from the living room was amazing and the house came equipped with almost every amenity we needed.

Potholes on the road to get there, the large binder with instructions seemed slightly overkill and personally I don’t love when hosts ask to take out trash or strip bedding, but I know that not everyone minds that.

Our stay at Fladda Chuain was peaceful with stunning views over the fields to the sea. Mairi popped in to welcome us and gave us some information about the home and area. The home is very comfortable and a great place to relax. Heating excellent. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, The top floor bedroom is a mezzanine style room so not totally walled off. The welcome goodies were appreciated - bread, milk, butter, tea, instant coffee, sugar, shortbread biscuits and a bottle of wine. There is no coffee maker but there is a coffee plunger so bring your own coffee grounds. Be aware the road from Uig involves single lane and passing bay driving, and the final road to the house was full of potholes, so take it easy. (out of owners control)

Not a negative, just a FYI - It is a remote location so make sure you have brought all your groceries etc

The house is spacious and has everything you need for comfortable stay with lovely views over the pastures and sea. The sunsets were incredible. The longer drive will reward you by undisturbed quiet and calm location.

We were happy with everything.
