About this house rental
Beautiful 3 bedroom property which has been recently and tastefully decorated to make it the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye. The house boasts beautiful scenic views of Flodigarry Island and the mainland of Scotland to the front and the stunning Quairang mountains to the rear. From our cozy snug, you can sit and relax while enjoying the view and hopefully see some of our amazing wildlife. From dolphins, whales and seals to the spectacular White Tailed Sea Eagles and other birds of prey.
After a days hiking and exploring around some of the many local trails and viewpoints, our guests love returning to the warm cozy house to enjoy the beautiful, star filled night sky and hopefully catch the stunning Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights).

Absolutely beautiful home, property, and surrounding area. Stunning views out of every window of the home and this area is absolutely brilliant. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and very large. The house itself is way larger than the pictures. There is lots of room to spread out and enjoy. There are sheep, lambs, hooded crows, bunnies, and other wildlife nearby. It was so much fun watching all the wildlife. This part of Scotland is absolutely incredible. So beautiful that I’m lost for words. Thank you to Marion and Gavin for being wonderful hosts. The home was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The beds were so wonderful.

We loved this beautifully restored Skye cottage in Flodigary. The house is clean and cozy. The owners were very friendly and responsive to our questions and the home is well located for local hiking, the Skye museum and other places of interest. Highly recommended.

Amazing house in a breath taking part of Scotland. We particularly liked our no car days where we hiked directly from Altavaig.
