Staffin 25 km from Portree: Large, comfortable cottage "Keepers", semi-detached. In a quiet, sunny position, 350 m from the sea, 350 m from the beach. Parking at the house. Shop, grocery, restaurant 350 m, bus stop "Junction" 2 km, sandy beach 350 m. Nearby attractions: Uig - Outer Hebrides Ferry 15 km, White Waves Activities 15 km, Dunvegan Castle 58 km. Please note: car recommended.
5-room semi-detached house 148 m2 on 2 levels. Spacious, comfortable furnishings: living/dining room with flat screen. Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, microwave, freezer). Sep. WC. Upper floor: 2 double bedrooms, each room with 1 double bed. 1 room with 2 beds. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. Bath/WC, shower/WC. Electric heating. View of the sea. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed.

Fantastic spacious cottage with brilliant facilities. Wonderful location with views of the Quiraing and the sea. Lots of cupboard storage and space.

On the plus side, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, very well equipped, and in a scenic location. On the downside, some of the windows were jammed open, and could not be closed; during our holiday, the weather was cool and frequently wet and windy. Would we book it again? Yes, probably; however our experience on Skye was somewhat tainted by how touristy and busy it has become. Full car parks, couldn’t book a table for dinner etc.
