The location was an easy drive over to Portree, and it was awesome having a washer/dryer to continue our travels. I would have like the space to be aired out as it has that old farm house type odor to it. Once the windows were open it'll go away.
The space is as advertised, we had a mix up with the couple that stayed in the upstairs apartment. There wasn't enough exterior lights for the couple who arrived at night to see the rear entrance stairs. They walked into our space and we had to help them find the stairs in the dark. The noise is very transparent I think for each guests on whichever floor so if you stay here ideally you have nice neighbors!

The unit has a huge footprint. The rooms are very large and would accommodate a big group or a family with kids needing space to run around.

The location was convenient for exploring Skye and the living area was comfortable enough for a short stay.
Unfortunately we felt the property was significantly overpriced for the standard provided. The outdoor areas had litter around the garden and the garbage bins were already full on arrival. There was also food left in the fridge from previous guests, and the dryer lint filter clearly hadn’t been emptied, which made the place feel poorly serviced. The towels were also quite poor quality and not very pleasant to use.
