it was a great place! real hidden gem. was a bit confusing when we arrived as the people on the ground floor flat had thought they were staying in the first floor flat and both accoms had the same code for the lock box which i think it a bit of a safety issue. house looks very interesting from the outside, but inside is super modern and bright,

there were no basics - no salt, sugar etc. i have come to expect these as most places i stay at have them so was a bit confused on arrival.

In a quiet location out of town.

We received the wrong instructions for obtaining the apartment keys, but was quickly resolved with a phone call and new emailed instructions. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the people that occupied the apartment above us. Mainly because the floor obviously has no sound proofing and they were walking around all the time.

- very large and comfortable bed - comfortable lounge chairs - private parking - quiet part of Skye - washing machine - well equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer (no toaster). - spacious interior

- Booking.com info was incorrect. There was no tumble drier and no dishwasher. - Property was a bit hard to find. - the outside of the building looks very dreary and uninviting. - very pricey for a self catering - we would have liked to be able to use a toaster, but there was none. - drying racks were quite flimsy. - some hooks would have been welcome to hang up coats and such. - there's plenty of space so a slightly bigger dining table would have been appreciated, so we could also work on our laptops there. - dining chairs also quite flimsy.

The location was convenient for exploring Skye and the living area was comfortable enough for a short stay.

Unfortunately we felt the property was significantly overpriced for the standard provided. The outdoor areas had litter around the garden and the garbage bins were already full on arrival. There was also food left in the fridge from previous guests, and the dryer lint filter clearly hadn’t been emptied, which made the place feel poorly serviced. The towels were also quite poor quality and not very pleasant to use.
