The unit has a huge footprint. The rooms are very large and would accommodate a big group or a family with kids needing space to run around.

Property Review This property is in an amazing location, surrounded by lots of greenery and offering a beautiful lake view. You will truly feel secluded, with no one else around — perfect for peace and quiet. Host is very responsive However, the property requires significant repairs.

Condition of the Property: It appears that some maintenance work was done recently, but in a rush and without attention to detail. We booked this property expecting the dishwasher to be in working condition, so that we could cook during our stay. The nearest restaurant is about 10 miles away, so this was important to us. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not working, and we had to spend valuable time washing dishes by hand instead of enjoying our time outdoors. It would have been considerate of the host to inform us in advance about this issue — especially since similar reviews about the dishwasher problem were posted 5–10 days before our visit. Issues Noticed (and Suggestions for Improvement) No curtains or blinds for the kitchen’s foldable door Dishwasher not working No shaver socket in any of the bathrooms Half of the mirror missing in the shower Visible unfinished work in both bathrooms Mold on the kitchen door and main doors

There was no breakfast, we cooked on our own. Spacious kitchen with electric hob and hood, oven and utensils were there. Dish washer with cleaning tablets, some spices were available (Bring your own spices, oil etc). Washing machine, drier and washing tablet was available which was fantastic. Spacious toilet, living room with TV, dining table . which were good enough for 2 families. proper space for car parking. Very spacious apartment. Bit off the road but later felt it is safe. Upstairs there was a permanent rent customer so it was not lonely which is good since the place feel like far from neighbors. Rabbits and cows grazing near by hill as well as some rabbits in the front yard and side yard. One of the best spacious stay in UK trip

Garden should have been bit organized and should have some external furniture so that tenants can enjoy the exterior. Due to location any thing to buy you have to drive to the town which I s17minutes drive. So be prepared with groceries from town before going towards the house.

Wonderful Island Getaway

A amazing flat with everything you could need on a self catering holiday. Was nice to have things you need to wash dishes etc. Location was very secluded and incredibly scenic. The flat was beautiful throughout and extremely spacious. Was extra nice to have access to a bath as well as a shower.

The location was exceptionally beautiful, wooded garden, view of the firth. We really appreciated having a kitchen in which we could keep and prepare food, and the washing machine/dryer were most welcome.

I didn't get the email with the directions, wifi password, and lockbox PIN before we arrived, and without Google maps and the caretaker we would have been lost.

A nice house but unsatisfying experience, and a bit overpriced

it’s a big house with a lot of spaces. They have a nice TV. Amanda who lives upstairs is responsible for the cleaning and she was real helpful and friendly.

It takes several hours for the heater to function properly, and before that the house was freezing cold(April). There were no hot water for the first few hours. And the owner replies slowly. There’re people living upstairs and sometimes it can be noisy when they walking in the morning.

Great that you are on Isle of Skye, but don’t expect a good sleep

Very spacious location on the Isle of Skye. Well equipped kitchen. Large and spacious rooms Nice views and lots of windows for natural light

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable; think a large foam pad rolled up as the mattress. Backs were ruined. The floors creak and squeak throughout, so no being quiet for others. The pipes make loud noises when they fill up. There is a separate unit above and you can hear the tenant walking and speaking on the phone. The host reached out over WhatsApp (instead of the booking.com app). I don’t usually use it so didn’t notice the message at first. And it didn’t work properly and I thought at first was spam.

Comfortable countryside home.

The location is out in the country. Beware of the cows and sheep in the road. It was a quiet place to stay. We enjoyed the sunsets and the pretty garden surrounding the property. The walls between the bedrooms are sound proof which helps when a person is snoring.

No toilet paper was provided or paper towels. An instruction book for appliances, tv and contacts would be appreciated. Getting the key information was not organized. We had to call before she sent the email. She did send pictures for the turns which was an excellent idea.

I liked that it was clean. Loved the laundry room. Great to have a kitchen. Lovely peek a boo view of the water.

No one let us know how to enter the property. Check-in after 6. There was a lockbox, no code provided for entry. Called and left messages, no response. Sent emails, no response. We disturbed the guy living over the apartment. He didn't know the code but unlocked the door. The door remained unlocked night and day during our stay. The key is needed to lock the door. It is a VERY rural location (watch the potholes), no cell service available. There was no note with WiFi code. Again, the guy was useful and shared the code. One of the toilets did not have a seat. Really? Some of the heaters did not work. It was super overpriced for being so rural with no human to support entry into the building, no way to lock the door and no toilet seat.

Non c’era phon, c’era odore di muffa, la porta della cucina che dà all’esterno non si chiudeva, pur avendo segnalato non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta. L’esterno della casa era poco curato ( erbacce, etc..) materassi super molli. Le ciabatte promesse non le abbiamo trovate, non c’era nemmeno il necessario per fare un caffè

Das liegt ca 20 min außerhalb Portree inmitten der Natur. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, sehr groß und die Aufteilung der Zimmer sehr gut. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber.

Preis / Leistung stimmt nicht. Das Haus ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und Garten und Haus nicht gepflegt von außen und innen. Die Matratzen sind alt und durchgelegen, ein Badezimmer super altmodisch. Schimmel in der Dusche und auch die Spülmaschine funktioniert nicht richtig. Farbe blättert teilweise ab - alles in allem eher lieblos gemacht. Aus diesem Ort könnte man was machen, müsste aber einiges investieren.
