Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend umgeben von viel Natur. Wir hatten die untere Wohnung gemietet, die viel Platz bietet und mit allem notwendigen für einen Aufenthalt ausgestattet ist. Insbesondere die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren ein großer Bonus für uns. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern lief per Mail problemlos. Der Schlüsselcode und alle notwendigen Anweisungen wurden rechtzeitig per Mail übersandt.

Zwei Dinge haben massiv gestört: 1. Der Fußboden der Wohnung im ersten Stock ist nicht gedämmt, so dass man in der unteren Wohnung jeden noch so kleinen Schritt hört. Das lässt sich tagsüber und auch abends gut ignorieren, jedoch nicht morgens wenn man eigentlich erholt ausschlafen möchte. In unserem Fall waren die Mieter über uns bereits um 6:15 Uhr wach und so waren wir es dann auch. 2. Unter der Spüle in der Küche befindet sich eine Wasserpumpe die immer anspringt, wenn jemand Wasser im Haus nutzt (auch in der oberen Wohnung). Die Pumpe ist sehr laut und macht ein unangenehmes Geräusch wenn sie läuft. Tagsüber kann man damit leben, aber nachts oder am frühen Morgen leider nicht. Auch hier gilt, wenn eben die Mieter darüber nachts das Wasser nutzen, oder auch am frühen Morgen, dann bekommt man das mit. Wenn man also Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist das die falsche Unterkunft. Für das Gebotene war im Gesamten dann der Preis viel zu hoch.

Loved the location. It was great with lovely views of the water. Ideally placed to see the whole of Skye. The size of the apartment was good, very spacious. The kitchen was adequate for what you require. Some cooking oil was left which was really useful. Parking was great, plenty of space Bed was very comfy. Generally it was great but certain aspects could be improved

Be careful which apartment you book as certain facilities are available in one apartment but not the other. No tumble dryer for example. Ours had a broken iron and no ironing board. No toaster which would have been useful. It could do with a coffee table in the lounge area. The garden looked like Edward scissorhands had been through it. Scruffy

We liked the spaciousness of the apt. The kitchen had all the necessary items to make a meal. Peekaboo view of the lake and roaming cows were an added plus.

It was a bit remote from some of the places we wanted to visit in the Isle of Skye. Would have also liked to have a hair dryer.

Location was excellent.

The host gave us wrong apartment We booked for 4 adults and children fir 2 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms. But they gave 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment without any extra duvet or any kind of bedsheets. It was a very long journey and when we spoke about that they couldn't do anything. And for thus kind of confusion it was so inconvenient and overpriced.
