Great Stay – Everything Was So Easy and Convenient

What we liked most was how easy and uncomplicated everything was. We could check in very conveniently, use the laundry room to wash our clothes, and whenever we had a question or concern, we could reach someone right away and it was taken care of immediately.

Cosy place for a Skye visit.

The Skye getaways cabin is a perfect choice for a traveling couple. Everything needed is present. The kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking with a microwave/grill oven and stove top. The bathroom/shower is excellent. The main room is well laid out and very comfortable. Wifi is fast and easy to connect to. Highly recommended.

Great stay with a beautiful view

Everything was great. Jennie and Mike are very sweet hosts and we had an amazing stay. The apartment was nicely designed and was very clean. Kitchen has a lot of equipment. The best part is the view which was one of the best view that we ever had :)

A lovely pre-Easter getaway!

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, especially for an incredible dinner at The Three Chimneys (main venue). The accommodation was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, with every conceivable modern convenience. We loved the views from the living room.

The front door handle was difficult to use, especially in the dark!

We had a great stay. We were both working but it felt like a holiday!

The cabin had every amenity, great cooking facilities, a good shower and a comfortable bed. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. It was peaceful, but only a short walk to the village.

Fabulous apartment with the most fantastic view. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Apartment was super clean and beds comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The highlight was definitely the stunning sea and mountain view.

Great hosts with very comfortable accommodation in ideal location.

The property is ideally situated to the north of the Skye, making it a great base from which to explore. Mike and Jenny were exceptional hosts, even adding something extra to our welcome pack to compensate for our delayed arrival and the information pack contained plenty of local recommendations for visits, supplies and eating out. The cabin is ideal for a couple with a great shower (as per other reviews!) and kitchen facilities. Really useful maps and guides in the accommodation assisted in planning our walks and we hope to return in the future to continue exploring the island.

Beautiful stay, lovely accommodation with all comforts

Lovely quiet place for a nice retreat. Dunvegan is a perfect location to reach any parts of Skye within a couple of hours. We really enjoyed our stay; Jennie is lovely and the Chalet is wonderfully decorated, fully equipped and very well isolated from light, which is something not all hosts think about, so it was really very much appreciated. There are plenty of useful maps and books available to visitors, and hiking sticks that you can use (I recommend that you do if you want to venture on some of the wonderful hikes that the island offers). Also, their shower is something you want to go back to at the end of a day out! We also slept very well and found the accommodation overall extremely comfortable. Loved the welcome pack and that they support local businesses. Lovely eco-friendly detergents and hand-made soap made us feel at home as we try to be good to the environment as much as possible and that's not always possible on holiday. Would definitely recommend and go back!

The view was great, cabin was cosey and really clean. Loads of good hikes within 30mins to an hour. Breakfast was great! Was really nice they went out of their way to get us some vegan food. Food was really good too!
