Great accomodation for the isle of Skye

Although check in was 5pm, the hosts were able to make the accomodation available earlier. A wonderful property, extremely clean and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen, in a quiet location. Easy access to all areas of Isle of Skye. Dunvegan is close by with grocery store, fuel, cafe and restaurant.

lovely place, the house is equiped with everything what you need to spend a week with kids there. We definitely recommend it!

lol, the only issue we had (as foreigners), we didnt know how to lock the door, and we arrived after midnight so it was a bit frustrating. so just simple advice, to amke a note for people from out of UK how to lock the door:-)

What did we like about the property? EVERYTHING! Location - silent, remote, no visual obstruction, you feel the nature. Quality - extremely well maintained. Layout - very practical, big rooms. Facilities - everything you need, you have it; fully equipped kitchen, fully equipped bathroom, outdoor bench, wide parking place, livingroom cosy couches, fire place, PS4, movie DVD’s, social games, you name it, they have it. Very thoughtful hosts, everything is in handy. Please do maintain and clean after yourself, everybody should benefit of the good quality amenities. Respect the hosts, respect the house, respect the other guests.

Location was great, central to all the locations we wanted to travel to in Skye.House was comfortable and very clean.We really loved staying at Hillside Cottage

Wish hot shower didn't end at 11pm When you're on holiday you sometimes want to stay up late and have really late shower. We felt like we had to rush to get showered before hot water stops at 11pm

Lovely home from home.

Hillside was an amazing place to stay for a break on Skye. The property was ideal for two people, lovely and modern and clean. The owners were nice enough to get some groceries in for us as we were travelling on motorbikes and were super helpful giving us the information we needed and helping us out with any issues. It was a lovely homely place to stay and we were very sad to leave.

The nearest shops/pubs are a few miles away, no problem if you have easy transport but quite a walk if not (take waterproofs with you) ! Midges (take some protection !)

The cottage was beautiful. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location, quietly situated and handy as a starting off point for getting around Skye. We absolutely loved it and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Geweldig huisje. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig en het is gelegen op een rustige plek. Alles werkte en functioneerde naar behoren. Wifi is snel.

Perfect vakantiehuisje op een mooie locatie.

Super fijn huisje. Ruim, gezellig, schoon, goede bedden, goed uitgeruste keuken en een prachtige ligging. We kwamen er volledig tot rust. Wat ook heel fijn was was dat we onze streamingdienst op de tv konden gebruiken. Aan alles is gedacht. Goede uitvalsbasis voor alle uitstapjes op Sky. Wij hebben hier een perfect verblijf gehad.

Warm water om te douchen is alleen tussen 7:30 en 9:30 en tussen 17:00 en 19:30 beschikbaar. Maar voor ons was dat geen probleem. Gewoon even rekening mee houden.
