Such a great experience!! My friends and I had a lovely time. It is such a wonderful cottage and we enjoyed the area for walks/runs. The kitchen was great. The location was also perfect for our needs (about 30 mins from Portree). Highly highly recommend :)

Wonderful little cottage

Clean, tidy, wonderful interior and plenty of comforts and extras provided (there was Milk for Tee and a bottle of nice wine).

Everything was perfect, but it wasn’t cheap. It felt worth the price though.

A super cozy cottage in a remote part of Skye, with excellent facilities.

Super cozy house which is full of character but very modernised with everything you need for a break away from home. The kitchen was excellent with a large table that easily sits 6. The lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were all super equipped and had everything we needed. We loved the bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, and the free entrance to the McLeod castle and grounds is definitely worth taking advantage of.

Beautiful views. Comfy stay. Attentive hosts.

Wonderful location. Amazing sunset ocean views. Quiet. Sitting area outside (it was midge season so we did not take advantage of this). Great views from inside the house as well. Lots of space. Dining table was large enough to accomodate our large family. Lots of seating in the living room. Host is on the property to address any issues. Short drive to the castle and cafe (cafe has lots of options).

There are some chores to complete at check out, so make sure to allocate enough time. There's no place to recycle glass. Check out instructions say to drop off glass at the castle car park, but the staff at the castle said we would have to go into town and to drop it off there (easy to find).

Enchanting cottage

The cottage was a magnificent place to stay and made our trip to Skye. Lovely little touches and welcome package, very comfortable and cosy, great location and very quiet. Highly recommend.

Charming, comfortable little house with excellent equipment, appliances and fixture in a spectacular setting with beautiful views. It really was better than we had hoped for.

Slightly inconvenient to arrive to because of the single track road with some traffic but this was a minor inconvenience.

Exceptional

The whole cottage was absolutely beautiful. I stayed here alone with my 3 children and they loved the garden and the bath tub especially. The views from the windows were magical and we all didn't want to leave. My children all cried in the car when we left.

no arrival instructions, no TV signal, poor internet.

Beautiful scenery

No instructions before arrival left in the rain and as it was rural no mobile signal to contact hosts. eventually got the phone to work and had to go through to the castle to get key code to open door. Floors were dirty on arrival. No signal for the TV and hardly and upload/download speed for the internet. As it was a cottage managed by teh Dunvegan Castle Estate i expected a lot more attention for the stay. Poor show.

Beautiful peaceful cottage with a lake view

Amazing location overlooking the loch in Dunvegan past the castle - spotless clean and spacious, simple but modern design, details were thought through - from kitchen equipment to bathrooms and appliances.

Almost nothing! We really wished there was some wood to burn in the woodburner in the living room.

Excellent holiday home

Nice location, very quiet house, lots of space. We really loved our stay there! There were a few midges outside (no more than in other non windy places on the island), but they didn't follow us into the house.

Outside bins were overfilled when we arrived and weren't emptied while we were there.

This house was absolutely stunning. The setting is breathtaking especially at sunset and is certainly perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and so tastefully decorated. A perfect holiday.

Beautiful location, beautiful cottage.

Beautiful location and views out of the windows are out of this world. The cottage is very stylish and cosy. The closeby beach is busy and has limited parking, but being so close means you can beat the crowds, or just take a short trip for the sunset. We also made multiple times use of the complimentary entry to Dunvegan castle and gardens.

Relaxing stay close to Dunvegan castle

Excellent location with free access to adjacent gardens and castle; property overlooking the bay in two directions; secluded private landscaped garden; equipped to highest standards; highly responsive landlord: there was a fault with the washing machine at our arrival which was quickly fixed by the property manager; close to many scenic spots on Skye especially the coral beach.
