Dunvegan Castle The Farmhouse Cottage

Our stay was great, the house is even more comfortable as expected ! The view from the house is stunning, just beware the midges. Thank you also for the complimentary gifts, much appreciated. We definitely recommend the Farmhouse Cottage and would come back with much pleasure.

We were lacking some tableware for breakfast. This being said, everything was perfect :-)

The cottage is in a fantastic location right next to the castle, which you can even visit for free. Don’t forget to go on the boat! The view is phenomenal. The house itself is incredibly spacious, and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Stunning paintings in every room, everything matches perfectly. The kitchen is extensive, and with 2 bathrooms and a separate laundry room, you won't be lacking anything. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the cottage was spotlessly clean. This was our best stay in Scotland.

When we arrived in the early evening, we wanted to cozy up and light the fireplace, but there was no wood available. After contacting the owner, it turned out you had to bring this yourself. This was a bit of a letdown upon arrival. We had expected that there might be a small supply available to get the fire going when we arrived.
