Loved our stay. We were in need of a “home” after some one night stays elseware.

Very nicely furnished and well equipped. Never met face to face with owners but they were quick to respond to a minor problem regarding locking the door.

Wished there was a lower rate for just a couple in a two bedroom house but understood that was not an option. Having the washing machine was nice but a dryer would have been nice. Our clothes hung up outside got soaked while we were out and about!

We had a comfortable stay in this lovely cottage.

A beautifully renovated cottage in a scenic location and easy to find. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very well appointed kitchen. Bathroom was very modern and roomy Good written communication with the owner who responded immediately to any queries we had.

We felt the cottage was best suited to two adults and two children as the second bedroom is very tight with two small single beds. There was very little floor space and no storage for anything other than a very small suitcase. The lounge room furniture is very large for the small space. There is nowhere to dry clothes if it is wet weather, especially as the owner asks no to dry washing inside.

The hostess was super nice , even came over to explain use of fire place ,the location is exemplary and I guess we were lucky to get the whole house at a good price !!

Sunnybank

This was the most beautiful location. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The owner even left Bread, jam, milk, coffee, and cookies. The living room furniture was very comfortable and the owner left games and books which were enjoyed. We loved this place.

The back door lock was broken.

Parking was right by the door. The milk & cookies were a lovely touch:) The furniture was nice & very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the tides from the window.

We wished the shower could have been larger. A tall, bigger person would find it difficult or not viable.

If I had a chance to return would love to book this house again.

This is a great place. We really liked the location away from the busy areas of the Island. There was fabulous dining 10-15 miles away.

The only thing we missed was having a clothes dryer in the house. A clothes line was available outside

We enjoyed the location and the house setup.

The bedrooms and bed setup was nice for our family of 4. My spouse was able to work remotely for part of the time we were there and the house was setup nicely for us to spread out during that time.

There could have been more frying pans and utensils in the kitchen. It was hard to cook a proper meal with 1 frying pan; a couple more utensils (flat spatula, tongs) would have also been nice for cooking. It was an inconvenience to not be able to dry laundry in the house. We had 1 partial day of sunny weather and were able to dry 1 load outside - we barely made it back in time to remove from the lines before it started raining. We had been traveling for 1.5 weeks prior to our stay and it would have been nice to do more laundry.

The house in in great condition and newly renovated. Easy communication with host. We had a brief problem with the heating, but the host was there immediately and fixed all the problems. It has nothing to do with the house or Gastbeber! Just for info: The house is about 10 km from Portree. There are no shops or cafes/restaurants around the house. So plan ahead for groceries shopping or going out for dinner/lunch. In high season it is almost impossible to get a seat in restaurants/pubs in Portree without a reservation.
