Claudia was very welcoming and brought us homemade sourdough bread when we arrived, the fridge already contained fresh eggs from the croft (farm), along with butter, jam, and milk. The kitchen had olive oil, salt/pepper, instant coffee, sugar, tea, cookies, microwaveable porridge, granola and apples! We were invited to go and feed some snacks to the highland coos, they're the cutest girls, Claudia allowed us to come and see the animals (cows, ducks, chickens and sheeps) by ourselves whenever we wanted. The bothy itself was very clean and tidy, with a great sense of decoration. Everything is pretty new since they opened last November, and the big window in the living room is perfect to observe the cows and sheeps or stargaze from a warm place. You feel isolated from the world and it's the greatest feeling on Skye. The croft has a honesty box where you can buy eggs, but Claudia saw us and decided we shouldn't pay for them, so she left some fresh eggs at the porch while we were exploring. Our best experience in Scotland, we could have stayed so much longer!
