stunning property surrounded by open fields and fresh air

Room 9 seemed to be the one of the few rooms that faced the water. We saw dolphins and whales from our window. it was upstairs and a bed was perfect, pillows were plentiful, shower hot, good soap, refrigerator, sink, all the amenities we could want. area was exceptional, different than other parts of isle of skye, it had this wild flair to it. would be nice in a storm. we had good weather.

Disappointing stay

Self contained with mot things you’d need

Stair access was dangerous. Not easy for older people or physically challenged Couldn’t find a hairdryer in the arpartment. Had to use a neighbouring apartment hairdryer as did already washed hair. Eventually found hairdryer in an obscure cupboard. Someone had left what looked like a toy hairdryer in the bathroom. Aldo previous occupants used towels had been left in the bathroom. The fact that to communicate with staff meant getting in the car to request or enquire about anything as apartment was a distance from the main office

Super comfortable stay.

1 - The property was very comfortable. It was spacious, with a nice kitchen a spacious living room and the bed room was also very comfortable; the mattress and sheets were luxurious. 2 - The shower was also good. The water temperature was great; the water pressure was also great. 3 - The weather was a bit tough in the days that we visited and the comfort inside the room really felt like a haven. 4 - We also enjoyed the restaurant. 5 - The heating availability also made the environment comfortable.

1 - There was actually construction going on in the complex when we arrived and that ruined a bit the joy. In fact, there was also an electricity outage for around two hours while we were there. Everything else was good.

The apartment was excellent large with separate living, kitchen and bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable and warm bed was 5 star. We ate at Monkstadt restaurant one night for a special occasion and was superb. Otherwise we ate in. Great location very scenic close to a number of iconic walks

Perfect place to enjoy the rugged nature of the Island of Sky

Perfection. From the remote but so historically relevant location in the island, the whole pristine set up, the level of comfort, and the attention to the tiniest detail: from the well equiped (and supplied) kitchenette / meals area, lounge (with warm wollen throughs and electrical fireplace), comfy bedroom and bathroom. And... the most amazing views from every window. Access to a washing machine / dryer within the common property grounds was an unnexpected bonus.

Beware that but for the very elegant restaurant in the property close by, the remoteness of the place requires some planning ahead as far as food and general supplies, as the closest shop is located at least 15 minutes drive.

Beautiful Escape

Amazing views and extremely comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and we had a wonderful stay. Helpful that we could use laundry facilities too. Would definitely return!

Could sometimes hear the people staying downstairs (ie. when their TV was on it was audible) and there was mention in the booklet of the apartment having a coffee machine but only instant was available. But these were all minor things for us.

Superb

This is a gorgeous location, but quite remote. We wanted remote so it was perfect. Be sure to book dinner in the manor house. Alex was lovely to interact with and did a great job with her service. The accommodations were just as pictured, very clean and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful, tranquil stay with easy access to all the sights

Stayed in No.9 (Pretenders Escape). Location excellent in the North so surrounded by lots to do without long drives. Comfort levels were great, bed amazingly comfortable. Views beautiful Well stocked kitchen Good parking and outdoor picnic table

Midge screens at the windows would be great. We were blessed with great weather so needed the windows open but this allowed the place to fill with midges very quickly. Screens may not be the most attractive things but would solve the problem easily.

the only problem I had was that I was sent the wrong code to get in and that was a bit of a faf and it was hard to locate the bags to bay up bedding but apart from that it was amazing definitely planning on staying again in the future

if you want somewhere quite and peaceful of the beaten track this is the place. perfect

it’s locations was perfect overlooking the sea and the hills. it had a very private and large outside seating area with spectacular views of Skye the neighbours (sheep) were extremely cute! the property itself is stunning, large and well appointed with beautiful views out of every window. even thought there were others staying below and around us we never saw or heard anything. absolutely perfect time away

Absolutely fantastic location, literally off the beaten track! Beautiful views and surroundings, extremely clean, had everything you could want with regards to kitchen equipment etc. We are a couple in our 30s and it was ideal for the 2 of us, just perfect. It was perfect!

We got engaged the night we stayed here. It was perfect watching the sunset from inside the apartment with the fireplace on. The place was exceptionally clean and super cosy! We loved the remote location and the sea side views. Thank you Ella for being accommodating.

Man könnte die Fenster nicht richtig verdunkeln. Auch gab es keine Klimaanlage. Da die Wohnung direkt unter dem Dach ist, war das nicht optimal.
