Location is perfect for exploring the Highlands. AMAZING VIEWS. Awake to the sound of sheep or cows in the distance. House is well setup, we even cooked dinner one evening. Beds are comfortable and communication was great. Be aware the closest restaurants are in Portree and almost all of them require reservations ahead of time. The restaurants also have really funny open/close times, google is not super accurate. If you do not make reservations you might get turned away from every restaurant with no place to eat.
GPS didn't take us to the correct house so we had to match up pictures. Easy to find so no big deal. Just an issue I've had with other rural properties.

Die ruhige Lage des Hauses ist super, mit Sicht aufs Meer und die Berge. Grosser Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Besuch von netten Schafen im Garten, war eine riesen Überraschung, einfach herrlich. Kurze Wege zu den Walks und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bequeme Betten. Gute Heizung. Gute Sonneneinstrahlung von morgens bis abends. Eine romantische alte Wendeltreppe führt in den 1. Stock, ist jedoch sehr eng.
Wir hatten grosse Mühe das Haus bei der Ankunft zu finden. Es hat zwar ein Schild an der Gartenmauer aber für Neuankömmlinge nicht auf Anhieb ersichtlich. Grösseres Schild an der Strasse wäre hilfreich. Küche einfach alt und schmuddelig. Abwaschbecken machte ungepflegten Eindruck, den Ofen mussten wir vor Gebrauch zuerst von altem eingebrannten Fett befreien. Teilweise defekte Stühle am Esstisch und im Schlafzimmer.
