Superbly appointed self-catering cottage for 2 (and dog) with very comfy furniture. History of the whole place is fascinating and added to the stay. Bathroom was great with fantastic shower. Provision for dog was great, including dog towel. Main house is lovely (we had dinner there); the tasting menu dinner was pricey but worth every penny. Ruta (sp?), on reception and serving, was delightful. Views over Skye coastline are wonderful (weather permitting).
All minor but: potholes in long road to the house could do with attention. Broken glass outside no 8 had not been cleared up despite having a dog staying. The breath-taking views from the property are only visible from outside, as the windows in no 8 are small (but appropriate to the age and history of the building). £35 surcharge for our dog felt excessive.
