The views from the cottage were second to none looking out onto the Quairing every day was amazing. We traveled 4 adults and 2 dogs and the accomodation was big enough for us plenty storage space in the rooms etc. The local shop in Staffin had everything you would need for your stay and with Portree just a short drive away is perfect for anything else.
2 out of 4 of us did not sleep well in the springy beds but I do think this is a personal preference.
There was/is a glass light shade in the front hall which when the front door opens swings we were careful with it however it took a blow on our second last night. Was a bit concerned at the time as it fell to the floor just missing one of our dogs...maybe done use a glass shade in front of the main door in and out.

the location is fantastic while the house is clean and warm
we didn’t have hot water throughout the day so it’s not that great. the most important point is they don’t have a light outside the property which is critical for health and safety at nighttime. we arrived in the dark and because without lighting, my wife fell badly on an icy ramp outside the holiday home and we had to cut short our time for couple of days to go back home so that she could see her doctor urgently. I highly recommend that you install a censor light outside the property, especially at the ramp so anyone who goes there at night can see things clearly and avoid what happened to my wife and family. apart from that, the holiday home is really good, warm and comfortable during our stay.
