Clean and comfy but lacked many necessities and terrible communication.

House itself was nice

No instructions for how to use things in the house like the towel heater, tv, etc. also the kitchen was not stocked well at all - not a single mixing bowl and only a single drinking glass among other shortages. Dishwasher had to be unloaded. Book said log to burn was left for use - not true. Also said coffee and milk left for use - not true. Towel heater did not work. Hot water usage caused terrible noises. Terrible communication with property managers and/or owners.

OK Enough - Not Great

Location is good in that it is walking distance to Portree. Nice bathroom. Good enough kitchen.

There is no house number on the outside. No TV instructions and we could not get it to work. Bathroom needs a hook on the door to hang things. Door code we were given was wrong.

Good, would go again but property would appreciate a bit of attention.

Location, reasonably close to Portree centre. Quiet street. Lots of space to park. 2 bedrooms were good enough. Kitchen space was good, reasonably well equipped. Bathroom was good, lots of water pressure, good shower.

A bit tired in places. TV didn’t work, no signal coming in from dish to freesat box. Back door entrance only via unsafe step. This step is way higher than maximum allowed by building regulations. Front door key wasn’t available. Kitchen accessories a bit lacking, spatula needs replacing, only 1 glass tumbler, pans tired. Toilet roll holder loose. Cabinet lighting loose. Fridge light doesn’t work. Weeds in drive getting a bit tall.

Home from home

A home from home. The house was ideal for our trip. Bathroom was all brand new and the kitchen was great for a social cooking and eating experience. Having a utility for wet boots and coats and a tumble dryer was excellent and the house location was within walking distance to Portree.

No enclosed garden so my dog had to be supervised when outside, the single beds were a little uncomfortable, probably fine for kids but as adults we were a little stiff in the morning.

A beautiful cottage with an excellent location near the center of Portree and its own private parking. The space is spacious and bright, fully equipped with modern facilities, including a well-stocked kitchen, a separate laundry room, and a cozy fireplace. Perfect for families or friends traveling together. Highly recommended!

We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend the property.

Great location! Very comfortable and very clean. We wished it had two bathrooms, but we made it work. Very updated and cute. We used the washing machine.

It would have been nice to have more than two logs for a fire, local stores sold huge bags that would have lasted a week! The spatula needed to be replaced and a few more drinking glasses would have been appreciated. Very minor complaints.

Bad value for money

The location is very close to the center of town. The house is well decorated and pleasant. The living room is spacious. It has laundry.

The shower does not allow the hot water to be adjusted and comes out very hot. The double bed is very small. There is no space for suitcases in the rooms. The toiletry bag doesn't fit in the bathroom.

Definitely would stay again.

The location close to town. The welcome basket was a real treat - thank you. The layout of the cottage was terrific. Having a chance to use the washing machine and drier was a real bonus for us.

The shower had no way of adjusting water temperature as the handle has been removed. This was a challenge as the water was way too hot to stand under. The lack of cleanliness of the cooking utensils and oven was disappointing. Like most rentals I had to wash dishes before we could use them. There was a broken wine glass in the cupboard which should be discarded - whomever put this in the cupboard would know that it was broken. I have left it on the window sill ledge in kitchen and notified owners. It was a bit pricey, but hey it is Portree on the Isle of Skye.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Skye!

Perfect location you can walk to Portree. Very nice home clean everything you need. Very nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay again. Large parking space next to the house can park 2 to 3 cars .

There was tea, coffee, milk etc. for us - thanks! Location is awesome, it's like 5 min from the centre of Portree, so even if you don't really feel like walking in the evening, you can still go to places. Place was nice, clean, all good.

They have send me about million emails with a ton of irrelevant details. It was extremely hard to find relevant part of instructions. Moreover, instruction how to find the property and keys were unclear when you tried to compare them with the reality on the spot. Once inside of the property, everything was fine. I would also prefer a better recycling instructions, especially for the glass bottles.

We were in Skye for 3 nights and decided to stay in Portree after reading that it was the best place for restaurants/shops and we were glad we made that choice! The cottage is not much of a looker on the outside but the inside was great! Very well finished, homely with a great dining/lounge area. They had books, board games, dish washers, washing machine…. Even had high chair for toddler and a travel cot! (Which we didn’t need but might be very useful for other families). It was so close to town centre that we could just go back to the cottage after a full day of hiking and have a warm shower then walk to very nearby restaurants for dinner. Would definitely recommend. Was a bit expensive but have realised that Skye is expensive plus we travelled on a bank holiday weekend so that might have been reflected in the price

As chaves precisam ser retiradas através de um código perto da porta aos fundos, em um lugar que eles enviam a sneha, o local não é tão fácil, mas bem intuitivo. As camas sãoe xcelentes, a casa super aconchegante e o espaço interno maravilhosa, casa completa, com lareira e livros, maravilhoso espaço, indica demais!

Tivemos um probleminha com a água quente, que acabou, mas conseguimos resolver sozinhos sem auxílio da empresa, em que pse eu tenha feito contato antes das 08h da manhã, como o contato é da Inglaterra, pessoal pediu apra esperar para resolver depois das 08h da manhã, não podíamos esperar, então, conseguimos resolver nós mesmos!
