We had a wonderful stay at the Blue House. The communication from the host was excellent, with all important information provided in advance of our stay. The check in process was very easy. The house itself is beautifully decorated and warm. It had everything we could have needed in our stay. The location is also perfect, just a very short walk to several shops, pubs and restaurants. We always managed to park outside the house despite it being a busy time in Portree. It was also the ideal location to explore the rest of Skye from. We would love to be able to return in the future 😊

Very cozy and warm. A lot of attention and detail went into making this a very enjoyable stay. Location was also very convenient, short walk to shops,bars and restaurants

Idéalement placé a Portree, une magnifique vue des chambres.
Super bien équipé pour manger , cuisiner et passer de bonne soirée.
Les salles de bains sont agréables et les chambres très bien.
L'hôte est très agréable dans les echanges.
On se sent très bien dans cette maison.
Il n'y a pas de parking privé, on peut se garer en face mais il faut parfois attendre quelques minutes qu une place se libère. Probablement compliqué en forte saison.

Very comfortable, loved the quirky decor with lots of interesting accessories, spotted something new every time entering a room. Beds are very comfortable, quality bedding and towels.
Both rooms are very spacious with one of them having an ensuite.
Basket of goodies on arrival which was a nice touch and welcomed.
Provided tv streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon prime if you get the chance to use them. Board games such as Scrabble which we did play with.
Lots of facilities to use such as a dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Other small additions such as binoculars as well.
Parking available outside on the main road on a first come first served basis which is free.
Excellent location as it's within less than 5 min walk to the harbour for any boat trips and the small supermarket, shops, restaurants in the area.
The main bathroom is downstairs which means anyone not having the room with the ensuite may have to use it in the middle of the night. Not a deal breaker though.
Parking outside was a bit hit and miss. Managed to get a space though but usually later on in the day.
