Beautiful and clean room; close to the square and most restaurants.
Probably not the best for those with a lot of luggage or mobility issues. There is gravel and many stairs to navigate before getting to the back door, plus a flight of stairs to the room.

We really loved our stay at Somerled House Suites. The property itself is charming, and one of our favorite parts was sitting by the window in the afternoon, listening to bagpipes in the town square. It felt like such a classic, peaceful Scottish moment. The room had everything we needed, and having on-site parking was a huge plus.
The only thing to be aware of is the stairs, which other reviewers have mentioned. You do have to carry your luggage down a fair number of steps—and then back up again when you leave—so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with heavy bags.
