Everything was perfect 😊 Position is great queasy parking. Check in instructions were clear and easy. The apartment is spacious and nicely appointed and beds are comfortable. Kitchen facilities are great and the extra touches of juice, milk etc were much appreciated. I highly recommend this accommodation

Had a little trouble getting the heating to come on when we needed but worked it out. Other than that there was nothing we didn’t like

The House was perfect situated and well prepared for our arrival. Especially the Food in the kitchen (milk and orange juice in the fridge plus marmelade!) and some sweets and Chips was very nice. It was nice decorated and all is very new furnished.

Unfortunately the kitchen wasnˋt equipped to cook for five persons, there was no big pans or pots. So we had to use two little pans. And it was not enough plates, Cups and spoons to fill the dishwasher.

A place that wows you again and again

Wow. A really spacious and beautiful place in a very nice and convenient location. We especially liked modern style and equipment, which included not only the household appliances (cooker, two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer), but also little details like a plug adapter und a few DVDs.

Brilliant holiday on Isle of Skye

A luxurious holiday home, spacious living room & kitchen/dining room, feels like a home away from home Quality furniture & furnishings, tastefully decorated, well appointed throughout lux toiletries, fragrant towels and beddings amazing mountain views all around

the day we arrived the weather was freezing cold and the driveway up to the house was covered with thick ice so much so that we had difficulty driving the car up to the parking lot infront of the house would be nice if the ice was cleared beforehand for us. the light outside the front door isnt working and no kitchen roll provided, otherwise everything else is complete!

Absolutely perfect. Don't look at the photos - they are old. The house has been fully renovated and is just beautiful. New comfortable beds, modern kitchen appliances, hot strong shower, new washer and dryer, beautiful view from the kitchen, and 3 mins to the main town square. Recommend hands down.

A very luxious and relaxing stay in Portree!

This property is simply stunning! It is modern and clean with great sized rooms and very comfortable bedding. There was bread, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits and more waiting for us upon arrival which was a very welcomed touch! The house was also spotlessly clean! I can’t stress how amazing our stay at Stroma was.. we could of easily stayed longer! It is also only a short walk to the town centre. If you are thinking of staying in Portree, this should be a number 1 choice!

Home away from home.

We loved staying at Stoma. The house was wonderful. It is obviously pretty recently renovated as everything looked brand new. I felt very at home there and will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. It was a great place to stay, close to the town and we parked on the driveway. Loved it!

The location was great. Could walk to downtown easily. Breakfast is not included, but some milk and juice and snacks were there, which we really appreciated.

The master bedroom was great and the bed comfortable. The second larger bedroom, the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable.

Very comfortable house with everything necessary for an enjoyable hillwalking visit. We really appreciated the extras - milk, bread, juice etc. Well situated, 5 minutes walk from town centre with views to the Cuillins. Highly recommended.

Lovely house in Portree, well equipped for a family stay

Stroma is a lovely spacious property in Portree, in comfortable walking distance to town (uphill on the return journey). The interiors are stylishly fitted out. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and stocked with milk, mini pots of jam, bread and fresh orange juice on arrival. The main bedroom is a good size with an ensuite that has a large shower. Three big bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms. There is another double bedroom and a single. House has a rack for drying washing indoors and a outdoor line as well if the weather is kind. TVs in all bedrooms, as well as the sitting room. Can just see the loch from the kitchen. WiFi is fast. Really enjoyed our stay.

A very clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation in Portree. 100% recommended.

From our three accomodations in Scotland this was without question the best. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated with taste. The huge living room provides enough space for relaxing on rainy days. We loved the warm welcome with wine, chocolates, toast, milk, juice and fresh flowers. Elaine put so much thought into each detail and really makes sure the guests feel wecome. Thank you once again!

We had to shorten our stay by one night and would have loved to stay longer ;)

Loved the comfortable surroundings and wished we could have stayed longer.

For a holiday home it was excellent. When we arrived there was bread, milk, juice, jam and biscuits. There was cleaning products, washing up liquid and for dishwasher and laundry. There was toiletries in both bathrooms as well as fluffy towels. They house was spotlessly clean, in a great location with a lovely garden.

There is no shaver point to recharge shaver, toothbrushes. So bring a plug.

It was in an excellent location and good for exploring Skye. The property was spotlessly clean and the rooms were all a decent size. There is off road parking. We would stay here again.

Everything was clean, contemporary and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were large. The photos don't do it justice. The bathrooms were equipped with nice shampoos, etc. A few basics in the fridge- loved the orange juice bottle. Easy walk down to the town. We all loved our stay there.

The location is great with Portree Harbour only an 8 minute walk away and a lot of visitor attractions within 30 minute drive. The property itself is spacious and a really high standard as well as having everything you would need in the kitchen. If I was heading to Skye again I would definitely book here.

Location, size, bathrooms, pillows, kitchen, cleanliness,quiet location. Walk into town very easy. Worth letting guests know about excellent coop just off Uig Road - it isn’t obvious!

Second double bed too small and very uncomfortable noisy mattress. Easily the weakest point in an otherwise excellent house. Towels: extra towels and slightly bigger bath towels would have been appreciated, and also bath mats. Coffee maker in kitchen also needed. Front drain pipe needs refixing. Dishwasher door drops too far down. These comments to help make very good house perfect!
