Amazing and very comfortable!

The entire house was very comfortable and lovely! We had a great time at our short stay in Portree. It was very well located, around all restaurants, walkable to everything Portree had to offer. We will definitely return and stay here, if another plan comes up on the cards!

The heating and cooling system needs to be a little more convenient for the guests to adjust! Apart from this, it was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely private home close to town with all the amenities

Loved the location of this property, close to town. Amenities were great and beds comfortable. It was a lovely surprise to have milk in the fridge and bread/biscuits on the table. Owner was lovely and quick to answer any questions.

Amazing location

The location was perfect. Walking distance from town, and the views are stunning. Also very convenient to visit other places. The property-specific application is perfect. So much information on it, and very easy to use. Plenty of car park space.

The main bathroom is downstairs and the other two are en suite in the other rooms. But nothing that we couldn't go around. It feels weird that there is a camera pointing outside but pointing at the dining room. It feels a bit invasive. Two of the rooms space it's very tight, not much space for suitcases.

Very good and clean for our group of 6 adults. Nice design. 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 parking slots. Couple of minutes to downtown Portree. It has everything you need.

Thin walls - you can hear the others snorring and talking in the other rooms:)) but this is how houses like this one were once made . (It s not a minus for me, it was rather funny)

The house was perfect for our stay! Super well equipped, and had everything we could possibly need. The house itself is super cute and you can even see the sea from the windows. We loved it and would definitely come back! Thank you!

Very enjoyable! The house was lovely and the host was responsive.

The house was clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. There are three bathrooms, which came in handy for five people. It was also just a quick, easy (5-10 minute) walk to town.

The booking provided the house name, street, and postal code, but no street address so it was a bit tricky for our tour driver to find it.

First Trip to Skye

The location was perfect! We could walk to town, yet it was very quiet. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 and it was very clean. Portree is a great location to stsy on Skye...it's an easy drive to the most popular sites to see. We would stay here again.

It was unusually hot while we were there. That made it a little hard to sleep, but that's no one's fault!

Great location and lively hosts

great property with everything we needed and more for a short stay on the Isle of Skye. Our host were great at communicating with us before the trip and made sure we wouldn’t get lost and had clear instructions for check in. Having the opportunity to do some laundry after a week on the road was welcome too. I’d happily visit again. The locations is great and a short walk into the village centre and harbour. We visited the fairy pools, took a boat trip to see sea eagles and hiked the old man of Storr during our two night stay. So it’s a good base for exploring the island.

There was an overabundance of Glade-like air fresheners and a liquid substance in the bathrooms that smelled like mothballs. Overall, these odors were too strong/unpleasant.

Perfect haven to explore the beauty of Skye

Great place if you want to spend couple of days on the Isle of Skye with your family and/or friends. By car Old Man of Storr is minutes away. All the usual and expected amenities are there but also some nice extras like Alexa enabled speaker and Playstation loaded with games. Comfortable house layout. Parking spot next to the entrance.

As in any typical UK house bedrooms might seem a bit cramped. As a backpacking party we didn't mind though:)

Convenient for Portree Harbour.

This is a comfortable house which benefits from morning sunshine and a spectacular view of the sea and mountains. Off road parking is a bonus.

We were a group of four and all commented that all bedrooms need black out blinds. One of the upstairs bedrooms isn’t en-suite, you have to go downstairs to use the shower & toilet.

Wonderful base of operations for visiting the Isle of Skye

Great location and just a short walk or drive to central part of town. Plenty of space in the house and all the amenities you could need while visiting Skye. Host had great communication and response time. We will most definitely try to stay here again when returning to Portree.

The location was an easy walking distance to the center of town, so we didn't have to worry about driving and parking. The house was stocked with good kitchen amenities!

Fantastic property and team

Absolutely everything, the house was fantastically decorated and equipped. Everything has been thought of in terms of creating a home from home. We stayed the week before Christmas and was greeted by lovely decorations, a Christmas tree, and a number of small gifts underneath it. These included crackers and a pudding. There was also a fantastic welcome basket with bread, milk, cerals and also importantly face masks. The owners had thought of everything, with very detailed information packs and lots of recommendations on what to do and where to go. The location is fantastic with an easy walk to the village centre with lovely bars, restaurants and shops. The local bakery is well worth an early walk for fresh bread and the coop is just 5 minutes away. All in all I would highly recommend this property and the team who own it and look after it.

Nothing, it was fantastic my only suggestion is that as I drive an electric car, the only way the property could only be enhanced is by having an EV charge point.

Lovely cottage great location and views

This is a really well appointed cottage where the owners have taken great care to ensure guests have a really comfortable and enjoyable stay. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and home comforts have been added throughout. It’s dog friendly too which is wonderful. We had a really pleasant stay.

There are signs of minor wear and tear in places which is probably to be expected at the end of the vacation season. Nothing that troubled us and I feel this was reflected fairly in the rental price for the property.

There was no hot water after two people’s showers. It took us sometime to dissolve the heater system problem.
