Excellent location and comfortable stay!

Wonderful loalcation, very close to everything in town and a short drive to attractions such as Old Man of Storr. The fireplace was so nice on a nice chilly, rainy evening. Suggestion: get up early and do your hikes! We found that even leaving at 8am we missed most of the crowds

Everything was great. It would be nice if there were more instructions for appliances like the coffee machine, oven, shower and washing machine (be careful to not choose an option that takes 3hrs to wash!-be warned it is only a washer, no dryer) But handbooks can be found in the lower drawer in kitchen

Beautiful cozy place with a nice mountain view. The space was big enough and everything we needed was available. The location was perfect, very close to the center but far enough to be quiet.

It’s not necessarily related to this specific location… I see it often in Uk and Ireland but you have to be prepared for low water pressure. Still it’s just a little inconvenience.

Relaxing retreat between busier parts of our trip

The location was incredibly convenient and the flat was immaculate and well equipped. The wood burning stove made it a cozy and welcoming space.

Some throw blankets would have been nice for lounging in the living room since it is a chilly city

A wonderful stay in a welcoming flat close to town.

The space was comfortable for a couple. We enjoyed the large kitchen, the comfortable living room with a wood burning stove and the space in the bedroom. Also enjoyed the welcoming touches of wine, cookies. Location in town was great.

Need another extension cord to be able to plug in phone near bed.

A wonderful place to stay in Portree.

A beautiful place to stay. The flat is very spacious and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable staying there and the history of the property is amazing. It really felt like home. The location is amazing with restaurants, pub and supermarket a short distance away.

Water pressure was a little low in the shower but it's an older property and this is something that we now expect with older places.

Beautiful flat in fabulously convenient location close to the centre of Portree.

Location was perfect. Close to scenic harbour, shops which had great opening hours, and also restaurants. Flat itself was spacious, bright and comfortable with good Wi-Fi connection. Generous welcome pack.

Toilet cistern took a while to refill. Not a huge problem but delayed us a little at times as there were two of us so second person had to wait a bit. Appreciate might be difficult to resolve given location and older property.

Host was helpful and responsive to my questions. Location is perfect for local dining, and shopping. The flat is beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped, including a welcome basket filled with local goods.

Our stay at lower flat Hillhouse was fantastic and we would stay there again.

We liked the apartment very much. It was quiet, very comfortable, always warm and had great views from each of the front windows. We liked the wooden floors and the wood burner. We got parked up very close every day after a long day exploring the Isle of Skye. The kitchen had everything you needed and was very practical, a nice space to have breakfast in and take away suppers! Richard came over one morning after we had trouble accessing the TV functions which was really appreciated! Both him and Roslyn were extremely helpful when we had questions about the flat and they made our stay hassle free! Thank you x

A well located, spacious and comfortable property - we will be back!

The kitchen was huge with lots of storage. and a lovely big fridge/ freezer. The wood burning stove was great. amd helped to keep us warm in the evenings. The bed was long and comfortable - essential for two tall people! The towels were large and fluffy and although we didn't use them, we appreciated the provision of the dressing gowns. The WiFi was great, and we enjoyed the large TV and the viewing options on offer. The location of this property is excellent, and parking is very close by.

More glassware, crockery and cutlery would been really helpful - to avoid having to do the washing up so frequently. The provision of a dishwasher would make the kitchen excellent. More kitchenware would be helpful too - to allow things like ice cream to be eaten, or pizza to be sliced (just a couple of examples). There were some slightly worrying noises coming from the stove hot water system on occasion but it did mean that there was a good amount of hot water if needed. A minor point, but having somewhere to put your clothes, like a chest of drawers or similar, would be great in the bedroom. It wasn't an issue to use our bags to store our clothing, it just would have been nicer to be able to put our clothes away.

La ubicación es muy buena, y tener a tu disposición una cocina es sin duda muy funcional y práctico. Nos gustó mucho encender el fuego y poder lavar la ropa.

El sistema de calentamiento de agua... Olvídate de una ducha en condiciones, además de que podía tardar hasta 1h en calentar el depósito. Me imaginaba la casa como un oasis en el que volver a entrar en calor tras las excursiones y el no poder darte una ducha caliente sin duda ha empañado mi experiencia.
