Spacious apartment in Portree

Big apartment, spacious room, and good location. Generally a great place to stay in Portree.

Confortable lodgings in a good location in Portree

Great location close enough to the main part of town to be very convenient and far enough away to be very quiet. Living room and dining area were good-sized. Had a clothes washer and dryer. Also close to a couple of great walks on a path along the shore and a path to a little double waterfalls. Really good communication from the hosts.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell and the faucet was hard to get turned off all the way; although we heard they are planning a bathroom remodel in the fall of 2025. We had a few wasps come in when we had the windows open. The king beds are UK kings which are about the same size as US queen size.

Very convenient to downtown to restaurants and shopping. Close to a grocery store as well.

Decorating needs doing everywhere and new carpets. Bathroom needs replacing - taps poor, only shower by getting into bath (trip hazard), mould on ceiling.

Great location, comfortable house

Great location in Portree. Very nice comfortable house. We were really glad to be able to cook our own meals.

There were a few little things which would have been useful - oven gloves, hand wash in the kitchen (we bought some and left it behind) and a mirror in the bedroom.

Nice stay near the town center

The location is very good. Just a nice walk to the center of the city & view of the harbor. Price is very decent compared to other accommodation in Portree. House & room is comfortable. Has a decent parking space for my rent car.

Bathroom uses hot & cold tap water which is pretty hard for me to use. The hot one is too hot while the cold one is too cold. Enabling both tap water also doesn't help. Shower is a bit hard to operate.

Its not really a complaint., Because it was already outstanding .but more suggestions of small things to make it even better - 1) kitchen towels, and 2) a couple of throws on living room sofas

Great stay in Portree

House was spacious warm and very comfortable. So well equipped and clean. Location 5 minutes from Portree Centre Absolutely beautiful Loch on the doorstep- Best restaurant in Skye is the Cuillin Hills Hotel with great views of the loch and is within walking distance from the house

A lovely, well-appointed and very comfortable place to stay. Great location, just a couple of minute walk from the centre of Portree. A good base for exploring the island but also a great place to hunker down if the weather isn't the best. Would definitely return. Thanks for having us.
