George met us upon arrival and showed us how everything worked. He provided basic supplies but we did not partake of them as I am gluten free. Everything was as described. The location is very convenient and quiet. There is a small electric heater that warmed the place up quickly. Shower had great water pressure!

Cozy and comfortable, was out of the way enough to be peaceful, but still close to roads for getting around easily. If you’re lucky enough to have decent weather the garden is perfect for sitting with a coffee and watching the boats come in and out. George was the perfect host giving a warm welcome and quick tour of the property. Milk, eggs, cereal, butter, and home made jam and marmalade (tasty!) were provided. Should I find my way back to Skye I’d definitely stay here again!

George met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property. He had stocked up with tea/ Coffee milk, some breakfast essentials including homemade jam and marmalade. The views from the property are incredible. A great location to explore the island from.

Lovely view. Uig is a good base to explore the area.
Double bed against the wall so one would have to climb over the other when rising at night. Consequently, one used the lower bunk bed, which was awkward for an 80 year old.
While there was accommodation for 4 to sleep, there were only 3 chairs. These were quite low for the dining table, which was too small for 3 people anyway.
There was nowhere to store clothes and so we had to use our suitcases. It was inconvenient.
We were pleased to be staying for only 3 nights.
