A lovely stop over if you’re travelling around Skye!

Had everything you needed for a 2 night stay. Loved the fresh eggs, milk, homemade jam and marmalade and biscuits. Fresh towels and bedding.

Ideal for a stop over. Had everything you needed. Comfortable and warm. The host was very welcoming and gave us a tour round to show how everything worked.

Great accommodation, lovely views.Close to Ferry and very central to sightseeing.

Location good.Great views.self catered, but plenty of eggs, milk, bread , cereal and essential items there. Parking available .We really enjoyed the property and George kept us well informed prior to arrival

Good position but not the most comfortable

Lovely view. Uig is a good base to explore the area.

Double bed against the wall so one would have to climb over the other when rising at night. Consequently, one used the lower bunk bed, which was awkward for an 80 year old. While there was accommodation for 4 to sleep, there were only 3 chairs. These were quite low for the dining table, which was too small for 3 people anyway. There was nowhere to store clothes and so we had to use our suitcases. It was inconvenient. We were pleased to be staying for only 3 nights.

We would stay here again

Even though it was a smaller structure to stay, and there was lots of room for my family and it worked out really well The whole George was very friendly and it was nice to be able to talk to him on several occasions. The location was perfect because we ended up taking the ferry from there. We were also able to go and see many sites from the Isle of skye from this convenient location.

Harbor view is spectacular, very thoughtful owner, kitchen full of coffee and tea choices, milk , eggs and homemade jam .

Nothing, but you have to put the whole address in your GPS , otherwise, you might end up in the pther part of the island.

Perfect cabin in Northern Skye with glorious views

Location is ideal for exploring north/west of Skye. The views from the garden are beautiful day and night. Cabin is comfortable, clean and has everything one might need for a holiday stay. Homemade jams and eggs on arrival were very appreciated! Thank you George

Superb. Clean, tidy, had every detail thought. Milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee available. Dogs welcome. Tiny accommodation but well planned to maximise the space. Super friendly host too. Loved it!

The lovely view from the accommodation, the friendly welcome from the host, the fridge and cupboards stocked for us and familiar surroundings having been there before. Also being able to take our dog made the difference.

George was a lovely host! We loved the homemade jams, and all the breakfast foods and treats. Great base for exploring the Trotternish peninsula and within walking distance to the pier, with a restaurant, cafe and shops. Prime location on Skye.

Good

The owner was lovely and friendly. The building was in his garden but we were allowed to use it. Kitchen had everything you would need and some lovely additions from the owner. There were eggs, bread, milk and biscuits with pots of homemade jam.

The living area seemed not to be set out right. Personally i would get rid of the bunk bed and get 2 sofa chairs to make it look more like a living space without losing the capacity. The tv was tiny but you can only watch it from the bed( too far away) as the sofa is facing the wrong way. I would like some privacy screen on the kitchen window as it faces the road ( it ded seem quiet though) but has clear glass and the bathroom is directly off the kitchen.

George is very helpful and responds very quickly to any text message! Best hot shower in the Highlands! The jam and bread was delicious and very thoughtful. View is nice and location is out of the way, but easy access to most of the main sites. Portree is a bit too congested for me :)

Nice short stay with family

Nice place to stop for few days, that's what we've been looking for to jump out of reality a little bit. Children really enjoy it (5&11yrs). Beds very comfy. We had milk, eggs, butter, coffee, few kind of tea, biscuits, jams and more basic stuff. Thats already more what I was expecting. Would definitely come back. Thank you.

Great stopping point for Ferry or for sightseeing

Great wee lodge with a perfect view of the harbor down the hill. The host George was lovely showed me round the lodge and was willing to answer any other questions I may have had. breakfast was great too he left fresh milk and eggs in the fridge as well as bread and some home made jams. Wifi was also pretty good.

the facility was awesome we loved it. the view was spectacular, the accommodations very comfortable, beds were amazing and above all the Host George was very helpful and kind. He had “ make your own” breakfast supplies which were abundant and very good. we travel a lot and this has been one of our favorite stays anywhere. needless to say in one of the worlds most beautiful spots.

Clean and welcoming, lovey quiet setting.

Lovely little touches such as fresh bread, milk and eggs waiting for us - plenty of different teas and coffee as well as homemade jam and marmalade. We contacted George during our journey to let him know we were running late, but this was no problem to him whatsoever. Was a lovely view over the bay, in a nice, quiet little village. We even had a visit from the locals - the 'Cluckins' - which our niece loved!

Shared garden - which George made clear we were free to use, however as a personal choice we decided against it as we felt like we would be intruding.
