Over looking the harbour and value for money
George was kind enough to provide us with the basic groceries.

Had everything you needed for a 2 night stay.
Loved the fresh eggs, milk, homemade jam and marmalade and biscuits. Fresh towels and bedding.
Ideal for a stop over. Had everything you needed. Comfortable and warm.
The host was very welcoming and gave us a tour round to show how everything worked.

Lovely view. Uig is a good base to explore the area.
Double bed against the wall so one would have to climb over the other when rising at night. Consequently, one used the lower bunk bed, which was awkward for an 80 year old.
While there was accommodation for 4 to sleep, there were only 3 chairs. These were quite low for the dining table, which was too small for 3 people anyway.
There was nowhere to store clothes and so we had to use our suitcases. It was inconvenient.
We were pleased to be staying for only 3 nights.
