This is a great place to stay. George was an excellent host and very helpful with hints about the area and what to see. The property was small but provided us with everything we needed for an excellent and cosy stay, and the views were spectacular.
George had filled the fridge with milk, eggs and butter, as well as bread and jams in the cupboard.
I can not recommend this place enough. Thank you George!

Fantastic stay in Uig. George was lovely and left us some basic supplies (food) in the property which was very nice. Great views from the property and close to the ferry terminal & water. Very nice to stay away from all the crowds at Portree. Uig is an ideal location for a lot of the north of the isle of Skye. Comfortable beds, easy appliances, everything you could want - cook top, microwave/ combi, kettle, fridge etc. Parking space at the property.

Wonderful view of the harbor! Also very nice to get milk, eggs, bread, jam, tea etc.

Lovely view. Uig is a good base to explore the area.
Double bed against the wall so one would have to climb over the other when rising at night. Consequently, one used the lower bunk bed, which was awkward for an 80 year old.
While there was accommodation for 4 to sleep, there were only 3 chairs. These were quite low for the dining table, which was too small for 3 people anyway.
There was nowhere to store clothes and so we had to use our suitcases. It was inconvenient.
We were pleased to be staying for only 3 nights.
