George met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property. He had stocked up with tea/ Coffee milk, some breakfast essentials including homemade jam and marmalade. The views from the property are incredible. A great location to explore the island from.

All the reviews from Booking.com were spot on. This is a wonderful place and excellent value for the cost. The view of the harbor and being able to watch the ferries go in and out was lovely. Seeing the sunset over the bay… When the sun was out… It was also beautiful. The kitchen facilities, the spaciousness and everything were just wonderful. George was great and left us eggs and homemade jam and bread and milk… Such a treat.

This is a great place to stay. George was an excellent host and very helpful with hints about the area and what to see. The property was small but provided us with everything we needed for an excellent and cosy stay, and the views were spectacular.
George had filled the fridge with milk, eggs and butter, as well as bread and jams in the cupboard.
I can not recommend this place enough. Thank you George!

Lovely view. Uig is a good base to explore the area.
Double bed against the wall so one would have to climb over the other when rising at night. Consequently, one used the lower bunk bed, which was awkward for an 80 year old.
While there was accommodation for 4 to sleep, there were only 3 chairs. These were quite low for the dining table, which was too small for 3 people anyway.
There was nowhere to store clothes and so we had to use our suitcases. It was inconvenient.
We were pleased to be staying for only 3 nights.
