We were in love with the beautiful vista from the kitchen window. To be so close to ocean, and have the mountains of the Hebrides in the background was simply spectacular.
The coziness of the living room, with the added coziness of the wood fire stove really brought us deep happiness and comfortability we haven’t experienced anywhere else.
There truly was nothing that we didn’t like about Jessie’s Hideaway. I will definitely come back and stay here if I ever find myself in Scotland again!!

Monkstadt No 6 "Jessie's Cottage" had a lovely view over the Outer Hebrides. This could be hidden on a rainy day, or lit up beautifully on a sunny day. The bedroom is lovely, and the cottages are on a lovely peaceful part of Skye, fairly close to Portree and the Quiraing/Old Man of Storr, and also close to the ferry to the Isle of Harris, so a good location for seeing the sights. Considering the high price of accomodation on Skye, this was reasonably priced.

It was a little studio flat and compact with all requirements in an isolated environment. With lovely views
Cleanliness was disappointing.There was a very bad smell of feet and wet dog throughout coming from the carpets which stayed throughout our stay. Bedroom heater not working. Emailed property but didn't get a reply until following am when we were out with no internet. Cutlery was sticky and dirty.
