Rural cottage on scenic Skye

lovely location, easy to get the keys, private and peaceful, nice wood burning stove, plenty facilities for your needs. good shower. plenty space.

cleanliness was a bit lacking. the property was a bit cold till the stove warmed it up, there is some electric heaters, which in the bedroom is decent, however downstairs is a bit cooler.

The cottage is beautiful and exactly what you need for a weekend of walking or just relaxation. Kitchen and living room has been done up since photos were taken.

Awesome stay.

Outstanding location near Brothers Point and Lealt Falls. The main attractions of the Isle of Skye are also very well accessible. The facility is very well equipped, well-equipped kitchen, large dining room, comfortable bathroom. Bedrooms comfortable with large beds. Inside clean and aesthetically pleasing. Good wi-fi throughout the property. Good price.

lovely cottage but don’t feed the electric meter

the cottage is lovely and comfortable, we felt at home immediately and the beds are very comfortable.

The electric meter - we inserted £1 coins into the meter for most of the week only to discover that although the coin fed meter looks like a working meter and reduces the value, it isn’t actually connected to the mains! I asked the owner about the meter prior to arrival as I saw a review mentioning where to get £1 coins for the meter but didn’t get a response. as what I now know is a decorative item, I would like to know why there is no warning not to feed the meter and why it is padlocked so that I could have retrieved the money I had inserted? Will the money I fed into the meter be refunded?

Nice cottage, well equipped, comfy beds, good wifi / internet signal, clean and tidy Great location, beautiful views, nice and quiet lane,

The Only downside out of all the positives was the shower over the bath which was temperamental and had poor water flow.

Home from home

Great location for exploring the North of the island. Very quiet location. Fantastic views all round. Cottage clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi. Sky. Home from home. Cottage has a log burner with first nights supply . Logs etc can be easily obtained from most petrol stations. Highly recommend this accommodation.
