Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree.
The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. They also squeezed us in for a booking at the restaurant at their hotel around the corner. It’s a great place to come back to at the end of the day, and a perfect base camp for exploring the island and relaxing.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful views of the bay. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent central spot for base of operations exploring Isle of Skye.
Incredibly peaceful views looking out over the water with cliffs and Uig in the background. Feels very private and the full kitchen let us relax and make some of our own meals.
Highly recommend!!!
