Taigh Dollaig
Taigh Dolag is a traditional croft house that offers modern comfort in a secluded location with exceptional views. Situated in an elevated position in Eyre on the eastern shore of Loch Snizort Beag on the northern coast of Skye, the location commands outstanding views out to the Minch and the Outer Hebrides in the distance.
With only a 7 minute drive to Portree, the island capital, and a 10 minute drive to the Western Isles ferry terminal, the house is ideally located for those wishing to tour the island, and further afield.
With modern furnishings throughout, the two bedroom house offers a comfortable base to explore Skye, or just to relax and take in the magical scenery. There is a comfortable living room with a wood burning stove, one double bedroom, one kingsize bedroom, bathroom and a large fully equipped Kitchen diner with french doors. The house has central heating and a private garden with seating area.
Located on a working croft, we will be tending to livestock daily and are unable to accommodate pets. Private parking is available. The house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

This cottage was perfect for our four nights on the Isle of Skye! It was clean, comfortable and incredibly scenic. The host was great, I loved the notes on the hikes around the Isle of Skye that she left for us to read. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

A wonderful croft home with amazing views. We loved our stay and how easy it was to get to all of our hikes and adventures. We were close enough to town for essentials, but far enough to feel that we were really getting away. The bed was very comfortable after the long hiking days and the shower was a dream. We loved sitting and watching the sheep in the field, laughing at the antics of the lambs. The kitchen had everything for a simple meal and again a great view. We loved our time and were sad to leave, but will happily return. Many thanks Joan for all the great communication and hints, they were much appreciated.
