Creag Moine Self Catering was a true luxury experience in every way!

I can't say enough about this property and the hosts. Easily the best self-catering experience we have ever had. The apartment itself was beyond fantastic, true luxury throughout. Huge, spacious room and the view was fantastic. Lovely kitchen, very well equipped with everything you need. The hosts were fabulous and kind, there if you needed anything, but not if you wanted to enjoy the peace and quite of the place. We are already looking forward to our next visit, and there is no where else we would even consider staying!

Amazing and will be returning

The view was lovely.it was clean we made and everything in there was amazing quality. Anything you need for cooking is there, you even get coffee tea and sugar. I get coffee for the coffee machine Milk and a basket of stuff to. Under floor heating place was magic. Hosts were amazing lovely people I will definitely be going back to stay there.

Superb accommodation with glorious views, the best.

A stylish chalet with a fantastic view. It is very well equipped and tastefully decorated, the furnishings all look new. The location is stunning - perched on a hill overlooking Loch Eyre. The verandah has sun in the afternoon and evening and is a perfect spot to enjoy the view. We were blessed with glorious weather and some beautiful sunsets. The owners are nearby and are welcoming and friendly.

House with a stunning view

Everything! Creag Moine is a wonderful, tastefully decorated house. Very bright and comfortable. But the most beautiful thing is the view of Loch Snizort Beag from the living room or better the terrace. I could have sat here for hours watching the light change over the loch - depending on the time of day or the weather. The house is also well situated for excursions. Peter and his wife are very nice and helpful landlords. Highly recommended accommodation for a pleasant stay on Skye.

Delightful Skye experience

We love chilling at the balcony with sights of the loch and the neighboring horses. Peter and his family were attentive and helpful with suggestion on places to visit, making sure we were comfortable. The chalet is clean and has beautiful surroundings. Even Poppy, their adorable cocker poodle extended her daily warm greeting. We had a memorable and relaxing time. We look forward to our next visit.

A gorgeous view over fantastic Skye landscape

A very friendly host who received us with a warm welcome. Wonderful view over the loch, mountains and meadows from the cottage. The place was cosy and tastefully decorated, the sheets and towels smelled of freshness; superior quality bed. Excellent facilities such as laundry room, tea, coffee and washing powder were all present. On arrival a basket full of goodies was waiting for us. We spent three lovely nights and we are sure to come back again. Marina and Peter, thank you for making our stay a memorable one! Jos and Kasia

A must book stay for a wonderful holiday

One of our favorite stays of all our travels, this chalet featured gorgeous views and Marina and Peter went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Situated just outside Portree, we enjoyed the idyllic location with perfect views from the large deck and through full length windows. Modern and clean, we googled some of the decor items so we could order for our own home. And perfect hosts with great communication throughout our stay. Looking forward to returning.

Peter and Marina are gracious hosts. The place is very well designed, well built with quality materials, and immaculately clean. The ever changing views over the tidal loch are a wonder, and it is only a short drive to Portree or the fantastic treks on Skye. We have traveled for 6 weeks in Britain, and this is by far our favorite stay. Bravo, well done, and thank you for your hospitality. If we come back to Skye, we will come here. This was simply amazing. We stayed for three nights. Simply beautiful. The owners are wonderful hosts and extremely helpful. The view from the living area and bedroom was stunning. Easy 10 minute drive from Portree. The best place we have stayed on UK holiday by a mile.

A Gateway from it all retreat done well

Had a delightful 4 night stay at Creag Moine Luxury Self Catering. The owners welcomed us with a hamper off goodies, and when inside we were taken back by the stunning view from the Mirador porch ,, it has all the amenities , clean spacious and warm.. 5 stars have to be given for this excellent value quite retreat in the beautiful Isle of Skye .

Beautiful space to courie in, or strike out from in Skye.

Hosts were polite and respectful of our space. The building was beautiful and exceeded expectations. On arrival we were gifted a basket of goodies. The sight was central in the isle and therefore, a great jumping off point to what Skye had to offer.

Creag Moine is well situated to explore the area. The cottage is bright and airy with beautiful views across the sea. The rooms are exceptional with a very good well equipped kitchen and the underfloor heating is a great plus especially as we went in October. We cannot praise it high enough and will be paying another visit.
