Unsafe stay - immediate improvement or delisting required

Meticulously clean inside apartment. Good aircon. Friendly people.

Place is not in accordance with basic safety standards. No exit or escape route without key. You are basically locked into the building and cannot leave it if not in possession of a key (and only one set of keys handed over) - irresponsible in case of fire. Independent from building door, you also cannot enter the street as there is a yard gate which is not opening from the inside without key. Second issue is health related. The staircase (not the apartment itself which seems clean!) is covered over multiple square meters with heavy black mold. Irresponsible of booking.com to keep listing this place without basic improvements. We will monitor this via website if you take action.

Recommend place for the value of the money!

Location was great. You can see the Como lake from your balcony. All public transport are very close (also boats). Shops and restaurants also are located very nearby. Great location for couples and groups of 6 people + parking!

Amazing Lake & Mountain View of Como

The view from property balcony is amazing..it’s located at an area with amazing lake view, feel safe area, nearby grocery store - good deal grand mercato, pizza restaurant & safe parking. Lake is nearby within walking distance. Owner also provides all the basic needs to stay such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, toiletries needs. He and his friend have also been very helpful on key arrangements till we safely checkin.

Only Stairs option at level 4…good exercise for us though 😀

Starts out with 76 up stairs to the apartment dragging luggage which was not mentioned.

Free parking, good WiFi, steps to the Ferry, nice & clean. Kitchen is very nice, the shower is small with nowhere to set soap. Property is nice and bright, good windows. We might have been among the very first guests at this place. If the order addresses my “squawk list” below, I would rate much higher.

Flickering bathroom lights No TV Additional electrical outlet adapters would be nice. There is not even one roll of paper towels provided & only 1 small dish towel, no hot pads and only an OLD sponge for washing dishes . For a 2 night stay there should be tin foil and plastic wrap provided at a minimum. No hairdryer! All bedroom light switches are outside of the bedroom 🙄 with No bedside lamps or tables in master bedroom. NO ice cube trays 76 steps to unit , 12 flights of stairs, not mentioned No lamps or coffee tables in living room There is a washing machine and clothes line, but NO clothes pins Need Step ladder (I am 5’6)… Can’t reach the top shelf for dishes or to plug-in the HVAC!! It is advertised as included and it should be plugged in and ready to use!

Hot slay

The location was perfect, master bedroom was spacious and there was a possibility to sit on the balcony.

Other bedroom was quite small and the nightlight on the bedside table on one side couldn’t be plugged in because the outlet was in the other side of the bed.

We were very grateful We stayed to stay in a lovely clean spacious apartment for 1 night with air conditioning and the host was very helpful too. The apartment is in a good location about 20 minute walk by the lake into the main hub of lake Como away from the busyness of the main hub of Como. The apartment is a 2-minute walk to a lovely restaurant and supermarket, everything is accessible.

Decent location.

Had to lug our luggage up 5 flights of stairs. No TV even though it said it was included. No one to show us how things worked. No way to reach owner. No hot water!! Hard to lock/unlock outside door.

The view from the apartment was nice. The beds were comfortable. It was very close to the lake and nearby supermarket.

The toilet door was not easy to lock. Some of the lights were flickering, which were uncomfortable. It would have been great if it was mentioned that the apartment is on 4th floor.

Für unseren Scope, eine Übernachtung, eine sehr gute Ferienwohnung.

Die Unterkunft selbst war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Betten hatten ordentliche Matratzen. Es war alles vorhanden, sogar ein paar kleine Flaschen Mineralwasser standen als Begrüßung bereit. Für eine Nacht zur Durchreise bestens geeignet.

Ein Hinweis für alle E Auto Fahrer: Die Ladesäulen auf dem Parkplatz können maximal nur 90min benutzt werden, weil sie auf dem Privatgelände des Supermarktes stehen und nicht auf dem öffentlichen Teil, der aktuell kostenpflichtig von 8h -18h kostenpflichtig ist. Den Parkplatz vom Restaurant, wo ma die Schlüssel abholt, haben wir , nach einem sehr direkten Hinweis, dass wir doch das Fahrzeug weiter nach vorne in die Parkbucht fahren sollen, nicht weiter benutzt.

Parfait avec une belle petite vue sur le lac

Emplacement super bien situé, avec parking public, supermarché, pompe d'essence et arrêt de bus juste en face, ainsi qu'un restaurant. Seul petit bémol: au 4e étage sans ascenseur.. un peu haut mais ce n'est pas dérangeant. C'est très spacieux, propre et très bien équipé. De plus, on peut se rendre à Como via le lac car l'embarcation est juste en face également! C'est bref mais très plaisant!
