I WANT TO GO BACK
What was not amazing over there. Villa Sassi has an amazing garden, a beautiful history and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 4. We've met half of the host's couple, Laurence and she was absolutely fabulous with anything we wanted to know. Things to do in the region, places to eat, where to go, what to visit.... If we didn't have the option to talk face to face, she tossed us all information she had as soon as she could over messages with links to websites and everything.
There was actually nothing that was bad or had to do directly with the accommodations or was 100% in the hands of the hosts. By the end of our stay we were a bit unlucky that it was at the beginning of the heatwave, temperatures were going +36°, so we couldn't go to many places during the peak heat moment of the day. The thick walls and the orientation of Villa Sassi actually provided excellent shelter during these extremely hot days. We also had a technical malfunction of the water circuit but the hosts managed to get this fixed within 24 hours with minimal hinder. So these "negative" things were not in the hands of our hosts but if they could do something about it, they immediately did. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Very good
We had a great time at Villa Sassi, and our dogs perhaps even more! A place where you can really relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundigs of Lago di Como. The accomodation was clean and cosy, living room/ kitchen was quite small but upstairs was spacious with two bedrooms and bathroom. The house is located in a small village with one nice restaurant close by. A good base for numerous activities and sightseeing. The garden was beautiful and big, the dogs loved it! The host lives next door and has been great during our stay, very involved, provided us with lots of information and all communication went smoothly.
The house is a bit remote from the shops, restaurants and main road downstairs near the lake. Although by car you could be there in 7 minutes! You can not really go anywhere by foot from the house. There were many musquitos throughout the day, around the house and garden, which made it almost impossible to use the garden for us, but this is inherent to the season I guess. Fortunate they have installed netting at the windows. One tip, a kitchen table which is more stable on the surface is desirable, or to add a glass top, the current one is a garden table origanally and not smooth at the top, you can't really put a coffee cup on it..

Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw, die voldoende privacy gaf maar steeds beschikbaar was om tips te geven rond de omgeving. Super mooie locatie, de rust is fantastisch en het uitzicht is ongelooflijk. Alles wat nodig is om een schitterende vakantie te hebben is aanwezig. Een aanrader!
