Its location to the city center shopping, food & marina

We did not have a view of Lake Como which was the reason we stayed here @ this apartment for the $. There was no reference in the apartment to how anything worked, there was no hot water for a hot showers, so we took cold showers or non at all for 3+ days. Heat registers & heating in apartment non functioning but supposedly was working, however, there was no instruction on how to use heat remote controls. As part of the booking, we were to receive wine/champagne upon our arrival which was a nice welcome gesture to Como, which added charm to our choice of stay. Unfortunately, That didn’t happen until the night before we left after we complained & brought it to their attention multiple times over multiple days that we didn’t receive that token of appreciation. We stayed 4 nights/5 days here, we were cold, we lacked toilet paper & other amenities which added to our disappointment to our stay. This apartment rental experience would have been a worthy stay if the Management Company were better w/ their communication & presentation of all things in the apartment which didn’t happen. They were surprised we don’t call them sooner w/ all of our issues. If they would have been more involved w/ their rental, they would have known that things in the apartment weren’t prepared for their paying guests. I unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again as a result of the upset, frustration & disappointment experienced.

Nice Location with great terrace

The location was absolutely amazing, and the view is stunning at all times: sunset, morning and evening. I liked that there were 2 toilets and the sofa bed in the living was great for sleeping. and the terrace is super .. we had one breakfast and one dreamy dinner there :)

The sofa bed in the small room was very difficult to set up plus its annoying while sleeping only suitable for a child maybe. also, the shutter of the window was not working and when I texted the owner, she/he said: (yes, I know!!) I asked how I can sleep with sunlight, they never responded again, and they texted me on booking to do not forget to leave the city tax, lol :D anyways at the end I called a technician to fix the shutter, and I paid him on my own so we can sleep.

The location of the facility is absolutely perfect. It has a very nice balcony, which is delightful for spending time with the family.

Location!

Fantastic location and great view from the balcony.

No soap at all in one of the bathrooms and the other bathroom had only a tiny bit left- it is a fair expectation that there will be soap in the bathrooms. A blind was broken and a few lights didn’t work. There was also washing left hanging out on the balcony so we had to remove that ourselves in order to use the dryer. For the price we paid we think these things need addressing.

Ideal location: aside from busy touristic streets, yet very close to the center and the lake. Beautiful and cosy interior, a nice terrace overlooking the Duomo.

Not very comfortable if you travel with a big luggage or a stroller - to take a lift you have to walk some stairs.

It’s ok.

Spacious.

It’s in a district that no taxi can reach. I have to carry luggage by myself with all the old stone path. I cancelled my precious first floor unit because that one doesn’t have lift, and this one says it has. However, in this one, I have to carry three different section of stairs to reach the high level first floor without anyone’s help! And there’s no physical appearance of the management team. They informed me at 7:30 pm the night before check out that they only accept cash for city tax (offered EU only IBAN bank transfer).

Great last minute find

Fabulous location, electronic blinds, balcony. Beds were comfortable and apartment was spacious.

We could hear a fair bit of noise from above. The apartment is on level 5 and there is a lift but you have to walk up one level to access it.

Unfortunately we were not given the code for key box before arrival. Had to call Booking.com for help as we couldn’t get in touch with the host. Booking.com was helpful and it was fixed in 30minutes

Amazing 50th birthday watching my football team play Como

Great location and view of the cathedral. Air con was needed and nice. Very clean and good kitchen facilities. 2 toilets. Close to lake and all amenities.

2 minor niggles. Took us a while to find the lock box but probably us being stupid. No spare toilet rolls not that we could find anyway. Overall it was an amazing place to stay.

I messaged the host many times, but he never replied which I found rude. I needed to do the check-in before, as I had a job appointment, and I was travelling with my parents (they are in their 70s). I offered to pay extra but he didn't get back to me, even to say no :(

Worst owner in my 40+ years of renting

Nice view, awful owner

I have rented over 200 properties over the years and this owner by far was the worst to work with. He doesn’t respond to any phone calls, email, text or whatsap. One hour before check in he sent a text with lockbox code and specific instructions to park behind the building which I did; this was his only communication, you are on your own. He asked me for my car license info and stated he would file it so that I could park there. The next day I received a parking ticket for 42 €. Since his apartment is in a “no vehicle zone”, I now await an additional fine of 200 €, 100€ for both entering and exiting as he obviously did not register my car as promised. I tried to contact him and asked him to please register my car to avoid this huge fine, no response. I tried phone, email, text and whatsap, never a response. You are completely on your own with this apartment, good luck if you have any problems as you will receive zero response/communication. So if you want to ruin your holiday, go ahead and rent from this passive aggressive owner. He should be removed from the booking.com rental program.

Perfect location.

Contact with the host was very poor. There was only a half roll of the toilet paper for 4 people. The bed sheets and towels had blood and other dirt spots. The water in heater was not turned on so there was only cold water the first day. We had to figure out ourselves how to tur it on because the host never answered to our messages. One of the bed legs broke when sitting down on the bed. It was not possible to sleep on it. The host gave us access to another bed in the apartement next door. Have to carry your luggage almost 1 & 1/2 floor to access the elevator. The apartment was on the 5th floor.

no directions given to find apartment. called 5 times and messaged. finally received a message with code. heating did not work. had to leave reverse cycle on. asked for instructions did not get any feedback. place was freezing. only 1 bedroom had the radiator working. beds were very uncomfortable. shared a bed with my daughter so we could use the extra blanket. small things like no toaster, no spatula, no small starter kit like washing powder. not worth the price. very difficult with communication. very disappointed. was so looking forward to our stay in Como.

The location of the apartment is good.

The host is very difficult to reach. We only got check-in information after we arrived in front of the building. When we have problems with the apartment, the host never replied the message. Upon booking it was promised that parking is in the same building for free. But only on the way to como, the host told us that it is not possible for parking and we need to park in some garage elsewhere. The garage that the host recommended costs 35 per day. Since the apartment is in the limited resident zone, so we wondered whether it is ever possible to park in the same building and why this information was not delivered earlier.
