The host, David, was very welcoming and helpful with local details. The breakfasts were plentiful and tasty. The location of the property is just a short walk from the village centre where there are plenty of options for daytime and evening meals. The rooms are small but well decorated with a feeling of quality. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

A wonderful location, safe, quiet, and peaceful. A 10 minute walk to shopping and great restaurants in Bourton-on-the-water, a picturesque village. The Coombe House was decorated nicely. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. David was a very gracious and helpful host. We enjoyed the breakfast room, with the tables set up nicely and a big window to look out with a beautiful view of the garden area. I liked that we were able to check off our breakfast choices on a menu David provided for us the night before. We had plenty to eat, and it was delicious. David served us well, and we enjoyed good conversation with him and the other guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Coombe House. The house is very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. And the location was perfect… But what really made the difference was the host and owner, David. From the time of our arrival to our departure we felt more like we were visiting a friend rather than staying at an inn. David knows how to be personal without seeming intrusive and we really enjoyed talking with him. Coombe House is a nice hub for visiting the Cotswold region and David is really a nice person to share some time with. Thank you very much David!

The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. When in the Cotswolds, I would definitely recommend staying there.

Coombe House B and B is beautifully appointed and perfectly situated in a quiet location just a short stroll from Bourton on the Water. David was the perfect host, welcoming us on arrival with tea and cake. He clearly enjoys chatting with his guests, making us feel at home straight away. His local knowledge was very helpful along with making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Our en suite room was very well equipped with many thoughtful touches.Everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was very well organised with everything freshly cooked to order and beautifully presented. Even fresh flowers on the table. Plenty of choice with quality ingredients - what more could you ask for. Thank you David for your hospitality and humour.

Great B&B just a short stroll from the village of Bourton on the Water. Ideal location for visiting the Cotswolds. Coombe House catered for every need, the rooms were clean and spacious and had everything within. There was ample parking, a lovely garden and David the host was very helpful and friendly and provided an excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Combe House is a lovely country cottage well situated within walking distance to the sites of Bourton on the Water. Our room was luxurious and well decorated, overlooking a beautiful garden. And our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us to the best places to visit in the Cotswolds. We had a wonderful stay!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We were offered advice on where to eat and where was worth visiting. The room was super clean with everything required for a comfortable stay even a fan was provided. Other nice touches included fresh milk in the extra quiet fridge and an extensive breakfast choice all beautifully prepared. Certainly a five star experience.

My Mother and I spent three nights at Coombe House under the superb care of David and Dawn, nothing was too much trouble! The house, garden and rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfasts are very filling, wholesome and tasty with a wide selection and beautifully cooked. Bourton on the Water has lots to offer just a short walk along, as does the surrounding area of the beautiful Cotswolds. Highly recommended!

On arrival, very friendly welcome from David who met us in the car park and took our bags into the lounge where Dawn provided us with a very welcome cup of tea and slice of cake while we registered. Our room was very nice, with en-suite bathroom, tv, tea/coffee making facilities, regularly cleaned and re-stocked with fresh milk in the fridge every day. Choice of breakfast which was lovely. On their recommendation we pre-booked meals in local pubs/restaurants which took away the worry of where to eat. David and Dawn were the perfect hosts and if we ever find ourselves visiting bourton on the water in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate in staying with them again.

I don’t have enough words to express my stay at Coombes house. David and Dawn are wonderful hosts.As soon as I arrived , David came to my car to help me with luggages. He took me to a cosy seating room and I felt like wow, it’s like being in a home. Dawn offered me tea and a piece of cake and I felt like I came to visit a friend. This hospitality went on through out my stay. Both of them were very happy to see to my needs. The whole place was COVID with masks , distancing and sanitiser. The room was lovely and very clean. There is a refrigerator in room! They provided with fresh milk for tea and water. Breakfast was superb and filled me up for whole day. The B&B was very close to the town and in a very quiet location. David helped me to plan my visit around cotswold. I wish I could stay longer. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Excellent place to stay. One of the very best we've stayed in. The warm welcome with tea and a slice of cake is a special touch and greatly appreciated after a long journey, Dave and Dawn really know what customer satisfaction is. Really lovely couple and a very special place to stay. Food was excellent, room was excellent in fact everything was excellent. We will defiantly be returning to Coombe House when we next visit the cotswolds. Many thanks to Dave and Dawn,

David and Dawn are a lovely friendly couple who can’t do enough for their guests - they take pride in the service they provide and do their utmost to ensure that your stay with them is enjoyable. They take the time to greet their guests with a tray of refreshments on arrival and lend a helping hand retrieving luggage from the car. Rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable, breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of food choices, the llocation is superb (less than a 10 minute walk from the Centre) and the gardens are lovely. There is plenty of space to park and a lounge for residents’ use. I couldn’t fault them on anything ! They even left a card and cupcake when they discovered it was my birthday. Thank you for a lovely stay.

From the moment you turn into the bribe the hotel feels welcoming. David ,the owner, came out to greet me and showed me to the lounge to register offered me tea and cake. After a friendly chat he showed me to my clean,comfortable bedroom with good sized bathroom.Breakfast was excellent and because it is preordered the night before the main part is ready when you wish to eat it,bearing in mind there is also cereal etc.as should wish.The Hotel situation is ideal, five minutes walk to the town centre and has easy road access to other areas of the Cotswolds. Will certainly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
