We did not let the above spoil our stay and the staff we met were very nice.
The breakfast was lovely and the venue for the B&B was perfect as it was in the centre of the village. The bedroom was very nice with a comfortable bed.
It was not made clear that you are unlikely to get parking until after booking. When you book through booking.com it says parking as one of the facilities along with private bathroom etc...this is not good enough. There is obviously an issue for a great many people with the parking as we then received five emails once we had booked advising that they do not advertise with parking! We parked in the overnight carpark a short walk away which cost £20 for 24 hours. The heating in our room was not working correctly as we could not switch the radiator off and the room was very hot. By the time we returned later that evening we were outside of the hours to contact staff to resolve the issue. I mentioned it before we left.

Perfect location, stylish, would recommend to anyone!
Very comfy bed, lovely and warm, stylish. Friendly staff, location was perfect. Right in the middle of the town. Full length mirror, desk to do makeup and get ready. Breakfast was perfect both mornings. You could help yourself to cereals, toast, juice and tea. Then you get the option of oats or cooked breakfast options. The tiger bread was lovely! We managed to park both nights on site for free.
The only slight niggle I’d have was the shower was very small, wasn’t much space in there.

Beautiful accommodation in a very picturesque place!
Incredible stay with at The Chestnuts. I would highly reccommend staying here. The staff were very friendly and offered plenty of options of where to dine in the evenings. The breakfast was brilliant and the room was very comfortable. Best nights sleep I have had in ages.

Electric shower was brilliant apart from the rail being connected to the wrong wall, it would be better on the smaller side.

The location
The bedroom we were given wasn’t nice but they did change it for a much nicer room. The dining area was very cold in the mornings.
