Great location with parking perfect if you want a Cotswolds break based in Bourton . Comfortable room , excellent breakfast and helpful friendly staff .

Room 18, fire escape room with fire door and window directly adjacent to our neighbours, too close for comfort. Room 18 allows you no comfort to sit and chill without curtains and blinds drawn at all times, maybe this is the reason they were drawn on our arrival! Most unsatisfied with this set up. Car park not large enough for the amount of guests, double parking issue. No coffee left for us on arrival in our room. On our 2nd night of staying we came downstairs to see if we could possibly eat at the Italian restaurant the time was 8pm, we were abruptly told with no compassion that they'd allocated all their seats , plenty of tables looked free with no reservation signs on them..we do understand that we maybe should have booked but I think the manor in which we were told was most unprofessional! At that point we could have quite happily got in the car and driven somewhere else for the night even if it was to drive back home. We spoke to numerous members of staff regarding our issues but no help...on the morning of leaving we had to wait for reception staff to start their duties before we could pay and depart . Your lovely early morning lady who does the breakfast did try to aid us but was unsuccessful...this lady is a credit to you. Would we return , not for Room 18 and no we wouldn't. Another issue is there is no shelving for toiletries in the bathroom.
