Great stay… you won’t be disappointed

The property was very close to all shops and restaurants. The lady who greets you is very friendly and accommodating. We had a large room which was lovely. Breakfast was great!

We were a little disappointed in the portion sizes at the restaurant.

Breakfast was excellent, breakfast staff excellent. Room cleaning staff excellent, went beyond. Room was a good size and beds comfortable.

Limited parking. Small meal sizes at the restaurant for dinner. One of the reception ladies on in the morning was not helpful when asked a question about the local area and was disinterested in helping us, came across unfriendly which made us feel uncomfortable.

The location was excellent, and the room was comfortable. Very kind staff on reception.

The car park spaces were very tight and it was overcrowded at night. The breakfast was good, even though the bacon was overcooked. The cafetiere coffee was far too weak for our taste. I did ask for a flat white as there's a machine in the bar but was told that this was not possible.

Parking - easy to find and a real bonus Helpful and friendly staff in Reception and breakfast room Location - fabulous and great for our Hawkstone Brewery Tour. Quiet Room Room was tastefully decorated and clean and fresh Breakfast - plenty on the buffet and tasty cooked menu Quirky touch - Chester the duck will be coming on our future travels x

Nothing to dislike as the standard was really high. Had a giggle as we'd been on the brewery tour and came back late but we couldn't get the key to open our room door. We thought we'd got the wrong room! But after a wiggle, the key finally turned. Yay!!

Room was ok, not as described. Waiting staff were great. Water in room great.

Breakfast was very average. The juice, cereals area was very small not a great variety of choice. Cooked food was of poor quality. Had to pay extra for decent coffee with breakfast. The roller blind in bathroom had mould on it. I would have rated the room as standard, nothing extra special about it. Tea and coffee in room was average. Each time water ran a pump started for as long as water running in our room and adjoining rooms. Would I pay £200 a night - no. Definitely not worth £200.

Location is great parking available which is important in such a small pretty village. Lovely view out the room. Place has old world feel but nice and mordern rooms

The location was great really buzzing little town, lots of places to eat and drink and picturesque

The mattresses were awful and old , been covered with a topper which didn't help so not a great nights sleep! Mattresses should be changed every 5- 10 years depending on manufacturer and these definitely hadn't.
