Very comfortable room with good amount of wardrobe and drawer space. The shower needs some attention. It’s either uncomfortably hot (in December) or loses most of its pressure. Comfortable bed.
Breakfast was very good. A couple of minor improvements would be orange juice and coffee, not a choice between, and perhaps some jam or marmalade with the toast. But the poached eggs were delicious.
When we chose Broadlands for our two night stay the deciding factor was the parking, which was excellent at this time of year. Might be different in the summer!
The restaurant reccommendations were useful. We had two good meals at the Dial House and the Mousetrap.
All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Stayed for a couple of nights, unfortunately broke down getting there, car was lifted to the hotel. No one around when we got there 9pm but note with key at reception. Room was small but adequate. We were given an upgraded breakfast for free which was very nice of the hosts. Hotel is in the heart of all the sights. Had trouble arrangeing getti g car fixed and again hosts were very nice and permitted it to be left when there was no prospect of the car getting fixed any time soon. Car has now been removed 6 days later, Thank you very much for not adding to our problems. Its not until you have a problem that you can properly evaluate the service you receive and we cant fault it. Would have no problem going back in the future.

Incredibly friendly staff, both front of house and breakfast service team.
Location was perfect, the included car park was worth its weight in gold and lovely breakfast

We had a small problem with hot water, but otherwise very good. Nice breakfast and cheap upgrade for full English.

We had a beautiful one night stay. Room was spacious and clean. We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning after a warm day, but with the fan supplied in the room and a window cracked we had no issues with sleeping. Thanks to the team two great recommendations - The Willow restaurant for dinner and a visit to nearby Warwick Castle

A lovely hotel run by nice people. The service was excellent and the hotel clean. Room 12 is very large with a large living room, 2 bedrooms, and bathroom. The ceiling is a bit low, so if you are taller than about 6’2” choose another room.

Definitely recommend this place - we had the cutest room, large comfy bed, quiet, parking. Only a few hundred metres walk to the main part of a gorgeous town. And lovely hosts. Outstanding.

We had a lovely stay, the owners were very friendly and accomodating. Changed us to a more height friendly room which was greatly appreciated. Very delicious breakfast included with excellent service!

The hosts of the property were extremely helpful and provided an excellent breakfast each morning.
The property was lovely and comfortable with deep mattresses and plush pillows. We were shown how to work the heating, so that we could have the accommodation at a temperature that suited us.
Parking was accessible around the property, if a little tight for larger vehicles.
The surrounding area is amazing, with many beautiful walks and villages to see. Bourton on the Water has many places to eat or you can visit the superb restaurants in one of the surrounding villages if you prefer a trip out.
If we were to visit the area again we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely anniversary weekend.

Don't think of staying here . Not one thing good about the place or owners . When you first arive there is a sign outside saying if you arrive before 3pm you should park and come back at 3pm .
The doorway leading to the bathroom is exactly 5 feet high and narrow . I told one of the owners that I smacked my head going into the bathroom i the middle of the night and his exact words were that its not his fault I didnt duck Just above the 5ft bathroom headway there is a garbage print in a glass frame . It would be very easy for a person to bump their head into the glass and cut their face and neck . Luckily i was looking down when I smacked my head . Im tall
The room did not have toilet paper . And their response was asking me dont I check a room for toilet paper when I check in .
The rooms are tiny . There is one chair and the only place to put a bag . If you have more than 1 carry on bag there is no other room to put it . Through the premises there are several wated damaged walls , the place is maintained horribly and dirty
The hotel told me that I had a economy room . I loked into a non economy room and it was just as bad
They say they have a bar but all it is is a shelf with a few liquor bottles that look 20 years old and there is no bathroom . Only the guest rooms have bathrooms (but bring your own toilet paper) All true
I tried to check out after staying 1 night not 2 . I asked for a refund for night 2 . I was eventually cursed out by owner . Dont go here ever

Extremely dirty . Tiny rooms and incredibly rude owners . Stay anywhere but here. Any good reviews here are phony and submitted by family or friends . Took pictures as proof but unfortunately pics cant be uploaded to this.
The pics the site shows are very very deceiving . There is nothing good here at all
The owners are the nastiest , rude people I ever met . I travel very often and this dump is the worst place I ever stayed . Besides it being dirty the water pressure is extremely weak and the pipes are constantly banging .
No dresser in room just small vanity . No phone or clock .
Super disappointed I cant post pics i took as proof . And pics posted by hotel that look not to be terrible is phony and staged

Having looked at this particular place online, it looked nice, although quite expensive we thought having looked at it, it would be worth paying that bit more.
On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly person who checked us in. We were asked to provide a time for breakfast which isn't always easy as one never knows what time they might want to have breakfast but, that was fine as going down to breakfast the following morning, although we were early, we were able to have breakfast.
We were given the key to Room 5. Unfortunately, this room wasn't great as was very small and the furniture was old and tired, the handles for opening the wardrobe doors were all loose, the T.V was the size of a 'postage stamp', the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet right and kept sliding to the side. The shower is over the bath but you had to stand very close to the area where the shower was to have a proper shower and the water temperature kept getting either too hot or too cold and, because we were so close to other rooms, we pretty much got no sleep at all as it was so noisy. I would not recommend the room we had (5) due to the above issues. However, on a positive note, the breakfast was lovely and the lady looking after us was so helpful and pleasant which was great.
I feel that the price was far too high for the particular room we had.
Friends of ours stayed in another room of which they had paid a little more for but, it was a far superior room to ours on every level.

We stayed for 1 night during a weekend trip & it was absolutely perfect. The location was amazing, very central but super quiet. We had a king suite which was massive! The room was cozy, clean & had everything you need. Charlotte was the most accommodating & friendliest host & the breakfast was delicious. Worth every penny & would go back in an instant.

Very friendly staff, allowed us to check in early, room very comfortable, had everything you needed, decor lovely we had room 5, breakfast very good and could highly recommend
The negatives:
1. Refusal to give us breakfast: I booked the mini suite with free breakfast at the offer price of £110 - Expedia January 2025. I showed reception the booking confirmation which clearly stated free breakfast was included, she refused to allow us to have breakfast unless we paid an additional £12.50 each.
2. Refused to let me use a toilet until check in: Having travelled a long way to the hotel, I needed to use the toilet as soon as we arrived. I explained that we were early, but could I please use a toilet and we would come back to check in after 3pm as stated on our booking. She refused to let me use a toilet.
3. The room was cold as only one of the 2 radiators was working.
4. Condition of the bathroom certainly wasn't to the standard I expected for such an expensive hotel. The wash hand basin & toilet bowl were cracked (not leaking, but didnt look very nice). The shower riser fell off the wall when my husband tried to adjust the height of the shower head. The paintwork was cracked/peeled away on the wooden shelf behind the toilet & alongside the bath. The window blind had black marks - maybe caused by insects or damp, I can't be sure, but it didnt look very nice. There was a notice in the bathroom to only flush toilet paper, but there were no sanitary bags & only an open topped waste bin to throw sanitary products away.
5. Just after 11pm I received an email from the hotel with an invoice for a Room Only Booking - who was she trying to kid!

This town was amzing, we had so much fun walking around and seeing the beauty of this place. The roads are crazy to drive in my opinion but everyone insists on driving on the wrong side..haha. The hotel was quaint, parking was tight but they did have it. The bed was not very comfy though. It was a little warm in the room so we slep with the window open. We didn't like that the keys were old skeleton keys and you had to lock it with the key from the inside, we aslo had friends across the hall and realized our key worked on their door also...just a little unnerving. Breakfast was great and staff was wonderful.

Honest review - Do not book this hotel if going by photos and reviews. Our room was very compact small, low ceilings, creaking floors, paper thin walls (can hear everything) door key wouldn’t work and not very clean, also had bugs and spider webs. Breakfast is ok if you eat eggs, however, I don’t so my option was fruit and toast. Way over priced for what you get, it’s below standard. The whole place is so dated and the only guests were seniors 65+. Worst hotel I’ve been to.

We had 3 lovely nights here. Although the room was rather small, it was cosy and suited us well. Breakfasts were delicious and any combination on the menu was able to be ordered. The breakfast toom was small and full of light. The lounge area was intimate, cosy with comfy lounge chairs. Lovely ambience. The only problems were the pillows were not very comfortable and the shower had very little pressure. Perhaps if the glass wall was wider and a new shower head was installed that would make showering more enjoyable. However, we would be very happy to return to Broadlands in a heartbeat. So close to the shops but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Kylie was a wonderful host, very obliging and cheerful not matter what we requested.

Great location. Short walk to village. Room was nice however it would be nicer if it was dusted above eye level ...
No replenishment of water, tea, milk etc while we were out which was a bit disappointing. Also someone had been into our friends room as door was left unlocked but nothing else done apart from duvet being straightened.
Breakfast lovely & friendly hosts but got the general impression that they were short staffed

Our stay at the Broadlands was excellent, from the easy check-in and onsite parking, to the room and amenities. The folks running it are always accessible and very friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

Definitely not 4 star. Room (no1) was clean, if tired and there were stains in the bath. The small wardrobe felt like it was about to fall to pieces. During the evening our toilet stopped flushing so had to flush using a bucket! When reported in morning got a non eye contact "oh really" response. Was fixed by time we returned in late afternoon. Following morning was told "your toilet is fixed. Lucky to get a plumber and job was very extensive". Again no apology. I get the impression that the hosts, go through the motions, but are not really interested in whether you have had a nice stay or not.
