We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The hosts were very welcoming and quite humourous. Our room was very comfortable with a nice view over the garden. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots to choose from.
In less than 5 minutes walking, we were in the centre of the village surrounded by pubs and restaurants . It was a great experience

The owners of Meadow Rise were welcoming and delightful, their home, our room and view were all lovely. Every morning, they cooked a hot meal for all of us guests in additional to a continental breakfast and always helped us plan our day. We enjoyed getting to know them a little, but they gave us plenty of space to do our own thing, such as sit out front and enjoy appetizers in the evening or watch a little TV downstairs.
We hope to see them again someday -

Beautiful location within walking distance from the center of town. The proprietors couldn’t have been more accommodating. Peaceful and bucolic just minutes away from the bustling tourist area. I would highly recommend it.
