The location of The Dial House in the village is perfect and a quiet location. The room we stayed in was a good size and had a contemporary style, perhaps a bit cluttered, quirky but bright and cheery. The breakfast was outstanding and well worth the option and the staff are friendly and attentive
The bathroom toilet in our room was not working properly and needed a few hard flushes to clear. We liked the hotel but it would be perfect if they upgraded their bed linen and pillows. The pillows we both said were like cardboard and look tired. Upgrade the linen and The Dial House would be a 100% winner

Beautiful place, rooms are decorated beautifully. Right in the village and has convenient parking included. Reception staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable, didn’t give the best nights sleep.

Bathroom was cold and there was no shelf for laying out your toiletries
Feeling of being rushed through dinner to suit staff early finish time
Food was mediocre at best - over priced wine and food list, competent service but without any warmth
Would not recommend to a friend
Lacked a Warm, welcome and enthusiastic service

"The location is right in front of the canal in Burton on water, so you just walk out of the hotel and your are in the town center. Cannot ask for more!
