The Old New Inn

Great location, comfortable stylish room, bar, gardens and restaurant all excellent

The room on the ground was very nice but no air con other than a Dyson Fan which was not great. Also there was a bad smell of drains most of the time so had to open the window on a regular basis. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Parking in the yard next to the Hotel/Pub was not very good as it was quite small .It was pot luck before 1800 if you got a place as lots of visitors to the town parked here for the model village. I think that they should have reserved places for hotel guests who stay. Well located for the village and although it is on the main road there was good sound proofing/secondary glazing to stop the noise from the traffic. Would stay at the New old Inn again when visiting Although it was high season thought that our stay was a bit overpriced for this type of accommodation.

They don't serve meals in the evening on Sunday.

The pub is centrally located, slightly away from the main high street and the huge numbers of tourists - it therefore felt more relaxed. Staff were all amazing and so was the breakfast. It was served on crisp table linen, china plates with sparkling cutlery all within a beautifully decorated dinning room. Christina greeted us every morning with a warm smile and gave us fantastic service. Our room was amazing too!

Breakfast and location was good.

I stayed twice in same month but car park explanation wasn’t good. I confirmed many times but I get different answers from different staffs. So I might get a car park fine. And also the fridge in my room switched off so the milk in a bottle smelt badly and the water was open lid. I didn’t feel clean.
