The Old New Inn

We truly loved our short but sweet stay here. Great location. Clean,comfortable and spacious room. Bathroom spotless. Restaurant/pub very convenient. Outdoor seating too. Friendly staff. Separate entrance for lodging guests only. Free admission to the miniature village (way cooler than expected). Our favorite was the included breakfast. Pleasantly impressed with the menu options, white tablecloth dining in a beautiful room (not the pub), and a thoughtful cold food buffet table. Our breakfast was delicious.

No complaints! Our only snafu- we couldn’t find the switch to turn on the towel warmer- until just before we checked out. The switch was near the floor just outside the bathroom. But that’s on us, as we could have easily asked reception about it. Be advised- no elevator. Not an issue for us.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, and spotless rooms. Complimentary access to the Model Village is included for guests, adding great value to the stay. Friendly staff. You can also leave your luggage if you arrived early.

I believe the same staff member was covering both the restaurant and reception, which occasionally resulted in a wait at check-in and check-out times. Having a dedicated receptionist during peak arrival and departure periods could help improve the guest experience. The staircase was also quite narrow and steep, which may be worth noting for guests with mobility concerns or large luggage.

Room was very small as was bed, not suitable for 2 adults. Menu wasn't great
