Excellent host. David was very helpful and accommodating with my daughter’s food allergies and tried hard to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Very comfortable and would definitely recommend.

Maybe modernise the bedroom furniture.

A traditional British B&B, with a fantastic host (thanks David) who was really helpful with letting us into our room early, helping with cases, local knowledge and great service overall. We had lovely breakfast choices which were all beautifully cooked too.

The room was a bit on the small side (we stayed during a heatwave but had a fan supplied), but we knew that from the booking details. Couldn’t fault it otherwise!

Coombe House is the perfect location in the beautiful picturesque village of Bourton-On-The-Water for sightseeing around the Cotswolds. Mum and I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2026. From the moment of arrival it felt like home. David (our host) could not have been more hospitable, warm and friendly (and funny). We had tea/coffee on arrival and relaxed in the lounge. Its stunning inside, beautifully furnished comfy sofas, antique furniture and it was so lovely to come back to each day. Our room was spotless, and we were impressed with the little considerate touches like making sure we had some green tea and earl grey. David went out of his way. The food was excellent, plenty of choice. We especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs. I would always choose Coombe House for my stay when next visiting the Cotswolds. Most of the tourist towns and villages are within easy reach around 30/45 mins by car. Just perfect nothing to fault 10/10.
