I recently stayed at the Voco Strasbourg Centre – The Garden during a business trip to Strasbourg, and overall, it was a highly positive experience. What stood out most was the exceptional quality of the staff. From the moment I made my reservation, they were remarkably helpful and responsive. I needed to make several changes prior to my arrival, and each request was handled smoothly and efficiently. Throughout my stay, every member of the team was courteous, professional, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. After long days of meetings, I particularly appreciated the excellent bed and pillows, which made it easy to enjoy a restful night's sleep. Another significant advantage was the air conditioning. An unexpected heat wave arrived during our stay, and while some colleagues staying at other hotels were forced to relocate because their air conditioning systems could not adequately cope with the temperatures, the system at Voco performed flawlessly and maintained a consistently comfortable environment. The breakfast was another highlight of the stay. The selection was generous, varied, and of a very high standard. The breakfast team deserves special recognition for their attentiveness and welcoming service. In particular, the breakfast manager contributed greatly to making each morning a pleasant experience. I would also like to extend special thanks to the night receptionist. One night, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the toilet in my room unexpectedly stopped functioning. Despite the late hour, he addressed the situation immediately and arranged an alternative room without delay. His professionalism and efficiency transformed what could have been a highly frustrating situation into only a minor inconvenience. There are a few points that prospective guests may wish to consider. The hotel is located some distance from the European Parliament, which was the primary focus of my work during this trip. Consequently, I needed to use Uber transportation each day. In addition, the rooms are not equipped with refrigerators, and the hotel operates largely on a self-service model. Guests should not expect items to be delivered to their rooms, as this is generally not part of the hotel's service approach. Despite these minor considerations, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Comfortable accommodations, excellent air conditioning, an outstanding breakfast, and, above all, exceptional staff combined to make this a memorable experience. Room was spacious with comfortable sheets and pillows. There’s plenty of street parking in the back of the hotel. Mon-Sat is free from 7pm-9am and all day on Sunday. You need to make reservations to use the pool. Everything else went fine except on the day of check in that the room wasn’t properly cleaned.
