this is hell !!!!!!!!!

Dear Sirs, I want to make a claim to this hotel. I also send 2 clain on the day I was there. When we lay sleep, in 1 hour my doughter wake up because something was biting her. When we check the bad, it was badbugs . We have a video of that as all bad was in this bugs. We went to reception and ask to change the room. Man on reception call to someone and said that his manager said sorry hotel is full he can give us other room for two. We were traviling as family 2 adult, 11 years old girl and 5 years old boy. So it was impossible to move them to other room for 2 and stay in room where were bugs on next bad. We book other hotel in the middle of the night and move to it with our 2 kids and pay 371,44 euro. it was on top that we pay for hotel Vendome 163,68 euro. We want to make a claim to hotel, as it is unsanitary , dangerouse and totaly unfriendly . We want hotel to return us money we paid on top and also p[aid us compensation that we are at 23-00 ( or near it ) have to search with 2 kids new place for night and walk via city with kids.

The location is good - walkable distance to the center

Sound insulation is very poor: you can hear everything from the corridor and neighboring rooms. The bathroom door doesn’t fully close, and the vent transmits noise from the room above like a speaker.

Great hotel close to the train station, good value for your money.

This hotel is one of many sitting across the plaza from the Strasbourg train station, so only a short walk if you are dragging your luggage. Front desk staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, in a pleasant dining area. There are busy streets on the front side of the hotel. I requested a room on the court yard side, which has no scenic view, but was very quiet. There is an elevator. I don't know if a room on the street side is noisy. The bathroom was large and seemed recently remodeled.

The mattress seemed a bit on the worn out side. Otherwise I had no complaints, I would stay here again.

I initially was only intending to stay 2 nights I end up staying 5 as the hotel was perfectly suited for me.

The room was great large comfortable bed and very comfortable pillows. I had a room with a balcony which was fabulous. The area is quite busy but the room was quiet. Reception staff were fantastic, always helpful and pleasant. Location to train station was awesome.

Central haven in a busy city.

The hotel is 3min walk from the station and 15min from the Cathedral. I did not realise that it would be so central. We were there during the 34 degrees heat wave and the ac in the room was a saving grace

First visit to Strasbourg.

The location was excellent, 5-minute walk to the train station. Great on-site breakfast available!

The elevator was very small so restricted to 2 people plus luggage. Only a challenge the first time. Also, the AC was on a timer and our first 3 nights were unseasonably warm, so awakened to reset every 2 hours.
