THis was an emergency stop and a last minute booking, I actually booked it from the app on the train when I realised I wasn't going to make it to Lille. It worked out really well. Strasbourg is beautiful, this hotel is very near the railway station, it was incredible value for money, and I found the decor charming. Also, this is fully accessible, one step in but there's a ramp with a button, and no steps inside.And the beautiful part of the city is just steps away.
If it is super hot, consider paying extra elsewhere for air-conditioning. There was a fan and ice packs, and it was OK, but it wouldn't have been if it had been hotter.
